How It Works

The Smart Home Panel 2 is the center of the whole-home backup system. It is complete with internal auto-switchover for instant backup. The panel is divided into the distribution panel and the battery connection box. Internal switches inside the distribution panel, technically known as "relays," allow you to remotely control your backup system.

The Smart Home Panel 2 is used as a sub panel to connect with the main panel to access grid power. It can also be connected to a generator, with an inlet box that allows you to easily connect your generator to the panel and to DELTA Pro Ultra for energy storage.
