Hassle-Free Returns & Exchanges

Returns

We strive for a stress-free, hassle-free return process. In order for the process to take place as smoothly as possible, we ask all customers to observe the following requirements.

  1. We have a 30-day return policy, which means customers have 30 days after the date the item shipped to request a return. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns beyond 30 days after the item shipped.
  2. Most items are easily returned within 30 days of the shipment date. To initiate a return, please contact us at returns@outboundpower.com. If the return is accepted, we will send the customer a return shipping label as well as instructions on how and where to send the package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
  3. To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition as it was received, unused, and in its original packaging.
  4. If the return request is unclear, we may require proof of purchase. We may also ask for confirmation of certain details as to why an item is returned for verification or if a warranty request is involved.
  5. Returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee. The customer is also responsible for return shipping costs.
  6. To assure your refund please use a trackable mail service, we will not be responsible for lost or missing packages.

Refunds

Upon the receipt of the return package, the item will be examined and a full refund will be issued to the original method of payment. A refund receipt will be emailed to the email address provided during the original purchase.

Refunds are processed as soon as the refund request is approved - that means that the money leaves our account immediately. If a refund has not yet been received, first check the bank account again. Then contact the payment method company as it may take some time before the refund is officially posted. We have seen some credit card companies take up to 30 days to show that the refund has been put back on the card.

Exchanges

The fastest way to exchange an item is to order it separately when the return is accepted.  Depending on inventory availability, we may be able to initiate a direct order of the exchange product after the original item is returned.

Cancellations

Cancellations are accepted up to the point of shipment. If the order has shipped, the customer is responsible for return shipping charges. Refunds are only issued to the original purchase method.

Damages

The customer must inspect the packaging on arrival.  If damage is present, the customer should make note of it when signing for delivery. If the item arrives damaged, the customer must send photos to returns@outboundpower.com and we will process an insurance or warranty claim on the customer's behalf.

As a venerable favorite among off-grid users, Wagan Tech’s ProLine series of power inverters have received a considerable makeover.

Starting from the ground up, the new 8,000 watt inverter received a new SMT circuit board, a glossy exterior coating on the smaller casing, and a massive weight reduction.

In short, the ProLine series of power inverters is smaller, faster, and lighter!

Wagan ProLine 8000W Power Inverter Features

Short List of New Features

  • New SMT circuit board
  • 54% Less Volume
  • 52% Weight Reduction
  • Redesigned Shell
  • Heavy Duty Solid Mount Terminals
  • Sharp Gloss Black Exterior
  • LED Displays
  • AC Outlets: 4 @ 1500 watts each
  • AC Terminal Block
  • Remote Switch Included

More Upgraded Features

The new SMT (Surface Mount Technology) circuit boards offer greater reliability, better efficiency, and fewer stray RF emissions over the older PCB (Printed Circuit Boards) and through-hole boards. From there the case volume shrunk almost 54% of the original, and the overall weight was reduced 52%! This makes for one efficient, reliable, beautiful, and lightweight 8,000 watt inverter in a more compact size!

Component Details

Under the shiny new exterior, you’ll find the aforementioned SMT circuit boards and a powerful cooling fan. On the front of the ProLine 8,000 Watt Inverter you will find the manually operated power switch (On/Off) as well as the jack for the remote power switch (included).

4 conveniently stacked 120V AC outlets capable of providing 1500 watts each are well spaced on the right side of the inverter. Just left of the AC outlets, you will find the LED Over-Load and Over-Temperature warning lights and the Voltage and Amperage level indicators. With the stout AC terminal block just below the Voltage/Amperage Level indicators, you can be certain that your investment is well protected.

Rear Component Details

On the backside of the ProLine 8,000 Watt Inverter is the massive cooling fan, the Heavy Duty Solid Mount Positive (Red) Terminal, the Heavy Duty Solid Mount Negative (Black) Terminal, and the Ground-Neutral Bond stud with wing-nut.

Both of the Terminals are now Heavy Duty Sold Mounts and come directly out of the case to make connections easier and to avoid the inevitable 90ᵒ bend that the cables make on traditional inverters; causing undue stress and making connections harder. The massive cooling fan is utilized to help keep the inverter cool and operating efficiently.

Performance

Wagan Tech builds our inverters with high peak surges that allow up to 3x the continuous rating to support high surging appliances such as tools, microwaves, air conditioners and refrigerators. Wagan Tech uses top quality components and reliable MOSFET transistors – the key factor in reliable inverter manufacturing.
