Zamp Solar Expansion Kits
These kits are built for RVs that have come pre-wired from the factory for solar. In most instances the ports and charge controller are already mounted and hard wired, so all you'll need to do to add on to your system is grab this kit that contains:
- Solar Panel
- Mounting Hardware
- 10' Lead
Zamp Solar Deluxe Kits
These Kits will contain everything that you need to build a roof mounted solar system from scratch. In addition to the contents of the expansion kits, you'll also find the following:
- Roof Port Cap
- Charge Controller
- Pre-fused and Pre-terminated Wire Harnesses

Plug-and-Play Portable Suitcases
Portable suitcases are designed for quick deployment and quick storage with minimal, or even non-existent installation.
Portables will usually plug right into a pre-existing solar port nearby the batteries or on the side of your vehicle. Go from unboxing to charging in under a minute.
Each of Zamp Solar's portable kits comes with an alligator clamp extension if a pre-existing solar port is not present. With this extension, you don't even need a solar port - you can clip your portable panels directly to any 12 volt battery and start charging it up right away.
If you spend a lot of time deep in the woods, a portable's a great solution. Keep the trailer cool in the shade, and use the extension cables that come with the portable to place your panels in the sun.
The portable panels are built for your Zamp Solar Port, but you can deploy your portable anywhere you see a 12 volt battery system. Go from your boat, to your friend's chassis battery, and back to your RV seamlessly.
