The ACOPower 300W Mono RV Solar System includes everything needed to generate, store and use solar power in an RV, boat, cabin or backup system. It combines three ACOPower 100W monocrystalline panels, a 30A MPPT charge controller, two 12V 100Ah GEL deep cycle batteries for 200Ah (2.4kWh) of storage at 12V, and a 1500 watt pure sine wave inverter that turns battery power into 120V AC household electricity.

ACOPower estimates the solar array will produce about 1,440 watt hours (120 amp hours) per day, depending on sunlight. The kit also includes the fuse, battery switch, mounting brackets, cables, branch connectors and roof entry housing, so the components arrive matched and ready to wire together.

Monocrystalline Solar Array

Three 100W panels give you 300W of solar. Each panel produces 17.48V and 5.71A at its maximum power point and comes with an aluminum Z-bracket mounting set for flat roof installation.

30A MPPT Charge Controller

The MPPT controller tracks the array's maximum power point to get more charge into the batteries than a PWM controller. It supports 12V/24V systems, accepts up to 100V of PV open circuit voltage, and is rated for 390W at 12V. It has profiles for sealed, gel and flooded lead-acid batteries, plus lithium and user settings.

200Ah of Maintenance-Free GEL Storage

Both batteries are sealed and maintenance free, with no watering needed. They connect in parallel to form a 12V bank. Lead-acid batteries last longest when they are not discharged much below half their capacity, so plan on roughly 1.2kWh of everyday usable energy.

1500W Pure Sine Wave Inverter

The inverter converts 12V DC to 120V AC with 1500 watts continuous and 3000 watts of surge power for motor starts. Pure sine output is safe for electronics and appliances. Protection covers under-voltage, over-voltage, overload and output short circuit.

Safety and Installation Hardware

A 50A fuse and battery switch protect and isolate the system. The kit includes 1 pair of 30 ft 12 AWG PV cable, an 8 ft 8 AWG tray cable, 2 pairs 1 ft 4 AWG battery cables for linking batteries, 1 pair 1-to-3 branch solar connectors, and a cable entry housing to seal the roof penetration.

That depends on your loads. A steady 100W load uses about 8Ah per hour at 12V, so 100Ah of everyday usable capacity would run it for roughly 12 hours before recharging.

Is the Inverter Pure Sine Wave?

Can I Expand the System Later?
