The Rich Solar 600 Watt Solar Kit is a 12V solar charging kit built around three MEGA 200 monocrystalline panels and a BRAVO 40 40A MPPT charge controller. Rich Solar rates it at about 2.2kWh of energy per day with 4 peak sun hours, enough to support a larger RV, van, cabin or tiny home battery bank that powers a fridge, fans and an inverter every day.
The kit includes everything between the panels and the battery: three sets of Z brackets, a cable entry housing for a clean roof pass-through, a 30 ft panel-to-controller cable set, a 10 ft controller-to-battery cable set and a 15A inline fuse. Add a battery bank, and an inverter if you want AC power, to complete the system.
Each MEGA 200 generates 10.9A at its maximum power point to charge 12V batteries. The panels use anti-reflective coated tempered glass and anodized aluminum frames, perform well in low light, and carry a 25-year power output warranty and 10-year workmanship warranty.
The BRAVO 40 is rated at 99.5% MPPT tracking efficiency and up to 98% charge conversion efficiency. It adapts automatically to 12V or 24V systems and accepts up to 100V of panel open-circuit voltage.
The controller has presets for gel, AGM, flooded, crystal and calcium lead-acid batteries, plus LiFePO4, LTO and LCO lithium batteries. It also stores charging data for reviewing system performance.
The BRAVO 40 includes reverse discharge protection, overvoltage protection and extensive internal circuit protections. It uses a common negative connection, has a conformal-coated circuit board, and is designed according to UL1741 and EN/IEC 62109-1. The 15A inline fuse adds protection on the panel side.
The MEGA 200 panels have 14 pre-drilled holes that fit Z brackets, ground mounts, side pole mounts and tilt mounts. Their 3 ft quick-connect cables work in series or parallel.

Camper vans and overland rigs. Cover the roof with panels for long stays away from hookups.
Cabins and tiny homes. Recharge a battery bank that runs lights, electronics and small appliances.

Versus the 400 Watt Solar Kit. The 400W kit uses two MEGA 200 panels and a BRAVO 30 for about 1.4kWh per day. The 600W kit adds a third panel and a 40A controller for about 2.2kWh per day.
Versus buying components separately. The kit bundles matched panels, a controller, cables, brackets, a cable entry housing and a fuse, so you do not have to work out wire sizes and connectors yourself.
Versus a PWM kit. An MPPT controller converts excess panel voltage into charging current, typically harvesting more energy than a PWM controller, especially in cool weather.

The MEGA 200 panels work in series or parallel. Keep the array's open-circuit voltage under the controller's 100V limit and follow the BRAVO 40 manual.
