The warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period. During the Warranty Period, which is 365 days from the date of purchase, ALP Generator will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance. This warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by conditions, malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship.

Yes! The ALP Generator has enough power to run your refrigerator. When starting up the generator, turn off eco-mode, and once your fridge is powered, you can switch the generator back to eco-mode.

Yes, the ALP Generator has a 12-volt battery charger built in regulated at 13.8 volts 4-9 amps, making for the perfect solution to charge your vehicle.
How long does it take for the generator to arrive?
Your delivery time should be between 2 - 5 business days, depending on your location.
Can I link two generators for double the power?
Yes! You can link two ALP Generators together with our parallel cable kit allowing for twice the power!
Why doesn't my generator run for 60 hours?
The ALP Generator offers a 60-hour run time on a 20 lb. propane tank. Similar to what you see on a barbecue, if you're not getting 60 hours of use, please verify that your tank has a full 20 pounds of propane.
What type of oil should I use with my ALP Generator?
Generally, you can use the same oil you use in your car. Alternatively, a blended or conventional motor oil, such as 10W-30 or 10W-40 weight is recommended. Blended or standard motor oil tends to provide better protection than full synthetic oil for generator parts when the generator is not used for a long period of time. This also helps prevent corrosion and the motor at start-up.
What is the largest size propane tank I can use with the ALP Generator?
The generator comes with a hose to attach a 1-pound propane tank which allows you to run the generator for approximately 3 hours. The largest size tank it can accept is a 20-pound propane tank which can be attached using one of the ALP braided propane hoses.

Started up just fine, and output was stable. Not a big fan of the screws that hold on the side cover, but a great deal for the money to me. My testing so far is only about 40 min with an intermittent 400 watt load. I changed the oil, and the next chance I get I will run it some more. The unit does not take much oil, so I will change the oil often. SUPER QUIET compared to my old gas generator. I love that! I was going to give the unit a 4, but I like how quiet it is more than care about the screws.

The Little ALP That Could
Received my ALP 1000w generator a couple weeks back. Filled it with oil, hooked up the propane, gave it some pulls and away it went. Runs great! I also plugged in about 300 w of accessories and let it run for an hour. No problems.
This machine is sturdy, quiet and has nice lines. I mainly bought it to charge my solar generator when cloudy days are here as I have a battery generator for household needs.
I like how the 5’ propane hose has the longer attachment on the end to be able to attach to the generator without the short hose being connected first. There is a lot of “attention to detail” with this unit. I would definitely recommend this generator to my friends.

Just as advertized, great generator, it's the real deal
Very satisfied. Provided it continues to be reliably (which it seems it should, it's well made) this is a great product. Power, fuel consumption, noise levels and cleanliness of AC power are all as advertised. We have a mild but growing concern that an increase in unreliable grid power (solar/wind - think "calm night") and the elimination of reliable power sources (nuclear, coal, gas) will logically/eventually result in grid failure (more power being drawn out of the grid than is going in). This generator is for that eventuality. We live in a northern climate, so winter heating is imperative. This can run our pellet stove (135 watts) on 2 gallons of propane per day. We have a 500 gallon tank, so even half empty this generator should provide us with power for heat for 100 days (which we hope is way beyond any future grid problems). Many thanks for providing a quality product at a good price.
