The DuroMax XP11000iH Dual Fuel Portable Inverter Generator brings clean sine wave power to whole home backup. Its 459cc DuroMax engine produces 9,000 running and 11,000 peak watts on gasoline, or 8,550 running and 10,450 peak watts on propane, with less than 3% total harmonic distortion.
It runs at just 61 dB at 25% load, and includes a 50A 14-50R outlet for generator interlocks and transfer switches. Remote start, CO Alert shutdown, parallel capability and a 5-year DuroMax warranty make it one of the most versatile mid-size generators in the DuroMax lineup.

The inverter keeps total harmonic distortion under 3%, so it is safe for computers, TVs, smart appliances and HVAC controls. Demand-based variable idle matches engine speed to the load, which keeps it at 61 dB at 25% load and saves fuel.
A 14-50R 50A outlet and an L14-30R 30A outlet connect to generator interlocks and transfer switches. Four 5-20R GFCI household outlets cover everyday plug-in loads.
Run on gasoline or propane. A 4-foot propane hose with regulator is included, and DuroMax suggests a 40 lb tank or larger.
Start from a distance with the included remote control, or use the push button, with a recoil starter as a backup. The AGM battery and included battery tender keep it ready to start.
A built-in sensor shuts the generator down automatically if carbon monoxide builds to unsafe levels around the unit.
Pair it with another compatible DuroMax inverter (sold separately) for more power. DuroMax also lists DC output for charging 48V and 52V battery banks.
The 7.1-gallon tank delivers about 18 hours at 25% load and 9 hours at 50% load on gasoline. On propane at 50% load, DuroMax rates about 8, 12 and 20 hours on 40, 60 and 100 lb tanks.
Home backup. Through an interlock or transfer switch, run refrigerators, pumps, lights, a furnace and other essential circuits.
Homes with sensitive electronics. Clean power protects computers, routers and appliance control boards.
RVs. The 14-50R and L14-30R outlets connect to RV service with the right cord or adapter, and quiet operation suits campgrounds.
Battery bank charging. Use the DC output to recharge compatible 48V or 52V battery systems.
Versus the DuroMax XP9500iH. Both share a 459cc platform. The XP11000iH adds about 1,400 running watts.
Versus the DuroMax XP11000iHT. The iHT adds natural gas operation and a natural gas hose.
Versus open-frame generators. The XP11000iH is much quieter and cleaner, at a higher price per watt.
This may be a good fit if
DuroMax rates it at 61 dB at 25% load.
DuroMax says it powers your whole home quietly and with ease. Use an interlock or transfer switch and a licensed electrician to connect it.
At 50% load, about 8 hours on a 40 lb tank, 12 hours on a 60 lb tank and 20 hours on a 100 lb tank.
DuroMax covers the XP11000iH with a 5-year parts and technical service warranty, backed by USA-based support.
The DuroMax XP11000iH delivers 11,000 peak watts of clean dual fuel inverter power, a 50A outlet, remote start and a 5-year warranty. At Outbound Power, we can help you plan a home backup setup. If you have questions, our team is happy to help.
