The DuroMax XP15000HXT Tri-Fuel Portable Generator is built for whole home backup, including central air in many homes. Its 670cc DuroMax OHV engine produces 12,000 running and 15,000 peak watts on gasoline, 11,400 running and 14,250 peak watts on propane and 10,260 running and 12,825 peak watts on natural gas.
With ten 5-20R household outlets, a transfer switch-ready 50A outlet, push button and remote start, CO Alert shutdown and a 13.2-gallon fuel tank, the XP15000HXT is one of the most capable portable generators DuroMax makes. It is backed by a 5-year warranty.

Run on gasoline, propane or natural gas from the front-facing fuel interface. A 15-foot, 3/4-inch natural gas hose and a 4-foot propane hose with regulator are included. Natural gas operation requires 6.0 to 9.0 inches of water column and up to 278,000 BTU at full load.
With 100 amps at 120V and 50 amps at 240V on gasoline, it can power refrigerators, pumps, lights, a water heater and in many homes, central air. The 14-50R outlet connects to a transfer switch or interlock.
The panel includes ten 5-20R GFCI outlets, an L5-30R, an L14-30R and a 14-50R outlet, so you can run many cords at once without adapters. A digital meter shows voltage, frequency and run hours.
Start from a distance with the included remote control, or use the push button. A recoil starter is a backup. The AGM battery offers longer life and better cold-weather starting.
The 13.2-gallon tank delivers about 17.9 hours at 25% load and 12 hours at 50% load on gasoline. On propane, DuroMax rates about 8.5 hours at 50% load and suggests a 60 lb tank or larger.
100% copper windings produce under 5% THD. An all-metal frame, automatic low-oil shutdown, a spin-on oil filter (compatible with STP S2878XL and K&N HP-1003) and 13-inch metal-hub wheels are built for heavy use.
Whole home backup. Through a transfer switch or interlock, run most household circuits, including central air and well pumps in many homes.
Long outages on natural gas. Connected to a gas line, run without refueling.
Job sites. Ten 120V outlets plus 240V power keep a whole crew working.
Large RVs. The 14-50R outlet connects to 50A RV service.
Versus the DuroMax XP15000HX. The HX has the same gasoline and propane output, without natural gas operation.
Versus the DuroMax XP15000HXT+. The HXT+ adds electronic fuel injection and CARB certification, so it can be sold in California.
Versus home standby generators. The XP15000HXT costs far less, can still run on natural gas and moves where you need it, but it is not permanently installed.
This may be a good fit if
Yes. DuroMax says it can power A/C, refrigerators and lights. Use a transfer switch or interlock and a licensed electrician for whole home backup.
About 12 hours at 50% load on gasoline. Propane runtime depends on tank size. On natural gas, DuroMax says runtime is unlimited when connected to a gas line, with regular maintenance.
Yes. It has push button and remote start, plus a recoil backup.
DuroMax covers the XP15000HXT with a 5-year parts and technical service warranty, backed by USA-based support.
The DuroMax XP15000HXT combines 15,000 peak watts, three fuel options, remote start and CO Alert in a rugged all-metal generator. At Outbound Power, we can help you plan a whole home backup setup. If you have questions, our team is happy to help.
