The DuroMax XP2300iH Dual Fuel Portable Inverter Generator is a lightweight, 50.6 lb inverter that powers sensitive electronics at home, at the campsite or on the road. Its 80cc engine produces 1,800 running watts and 2,300 peak watts on gasoline, or 1,700 running and 2,150 peak watts on propane.
Clean sine wave power with less than 3% total harmonic distortion is safe for phones, laptops and other electronics, and the generator runs at just 52 dB. CO Alert shutdown, parallel capability and a 3-year DuroMax warranty make it a dependable everyday generator.
The digital inverter keeps total harmonic distortion under 3%, so you can safely charge and run laptops, TVs, medical devices and other sensitive electronics.
Run on gasoline or propane. A 4-foot propane hose with regulator is included, and DuroMax suggests a 20 lb propane tank or larger.
Demand-based variable idle adjusts engine speed to the load, which keeps the noise level at 52 dB and saves fuel.
A built-in sensor shuts the generator down automatically if carbon monoxide builds to unsafe levels around it.
Pair two XP2300iH generators with the included parallel cable to combine their output for larger loads.
Two 5-20R household outlets, an L5-30R 30A twist-lock for RVs, a USB-A and a USB-C port cover most portable needs. A digital meter shows output and run hours.
At 50.6 lbs dry and 22 x 14 x 20 inches, it fits in a trunk or RV storage bay and includes a wheel and handle kit.
Camping and RVs. Run lights, fans, a coffee maker and device chargers quietly at the campsite.
Tailgating. Power TVs, speakers and small cooking appliances.
Home outages. Keep a refrigerator, modem, lights and phone chargers running.
Mobile work. Charge tool batteries and run small tools away from an outlet.
Versus open-frame generators. The XP2300iH is far quieter, lighter and safer for electronics, though it produces less total power.
Versus portable power stations. It runs as long as you have fuel, and refuels in minutes, but it must be used outdoors.
Versus the DuroMax XP7000iH. The XP7000iH adds 240V output, electric start and much more power for home backup, but weighs much more.
This may be a good fit if
It depends on the air conditioner's starting load. Many RV units need more than 1,800 running watts or a soft start. Two XP2300iH units in parallel provide more headroom.
About 7 hours at 50% load and 13 hours at 25% load on the 1.1-gallon tank. DuroMax rates up to 18 hours at 50% load on propane, depending on tank size.
Yes. Its inverter output has less than 3% total harmonic distortion.
DuroMax covers the XP2300iH with a 3-year parts and technical service warranty, backed by USA-based support.
The DuroMax XP2300iH delivers 2,300 peak watts of clean, dual fuel inverter power at 52 dB in a 50.6 lb package. At Outbound Power, we can help you choose the right inverter generator. If you have questions, our team is happy to help.
