Solar Panels

The SunGoldPower 15.2kW Hybrid Solar Kit Uses Two 7.6kW Inverters and 30.72kWh of LiFePO4 Storage

The SunGoldPower 15.2kW Hybrid Solar Kit With 30.72kWh LiFePO4 Battery (SGH-7.6DN6E) is a hybrid solar kit built around two 7.6kW split-phase hybrid inverters (SGN7.6K1HB-48) running in parallel. It includes 32 x 415W monocrystalline solar panels for 13,280W of solar, 6 x 51.2V 100Ah LiFePO4 server rack batteries (SG48100P) for 30.72kWh of storage, and the breakers and cables listed below.

Two SGN7.6K1HB-48 hybrid inverters provide 15.2kW of combined split-phase output, backed by six 5.12kWh batteries in an enclosed cabinet. The inverters support grid-tie, off-grid, and hybrid operation, and the kit is offered with 32 x 415W panels or without panels.

SunGoldPower 15.2kW Hybrid Solar Kit With 30.72kWh Battery Features

15.2kW Hybrid Split-Phase Inverters

The SGN7.6K1HB-48 is a 7.6kW hybrid inverter with 120/240VAC split-phase output and 15,200VA of peak power for 1 second. Three MPPT trackers accept up to 12,000W of solar at up to 600V, and the inverter charges the 48V battery bank at up to 210A (10,000W) and discharges at up to 180A. SunGold lists it for grid-tie, off-grid, and hybrid operation with generator support, and it is certified to UL1741, UL1741 SB, UL1699B, and IEEE 1547:2018 and is CEC listed. The kit includes two units for 15.2kW of combined output.

30.72kWh of LiFePO4 Storage

Each SG48100P is a 51.2V, 100Ah (5.12kWh) lithium iron phosphate battery in a 3U server rack format. SunGold rates it for 7,000 or more cycles at 80% depth of discharge with a 15-year design life, and it communicates with the inverter over RS485 or CAN. It is certified to UL1973 and is rated IP20 for indoor installation. Six batteries combine for 30.72kWh of storage, housed in the included enclosed battery cabinet.

13,280W Solar Array

The 415W monocrystalline PERC panels (SG415WM) use 108 half-cut cells, carry UL61730 certification and CEC listing, and are rated for 2,400Pa wind and 5,400Pa snow loads. SunGold backs them with a 12-year material and workmanship warranty and a 25-year power output warranty. At four peak sun hours, the 32-panel array produces about 53.1kWh per day. Actual output depends on location, season, tilt, and shading.

Built-In MPPT Solar Charging

The inverters have built-in MPPT solar charging, so the panels connect directly to the inverters without a separate charge controller. That keeps wiring simpler and reduces the number of components to mount.

Breakers and Cables

SunGold includes DC and PV breakers, battery and inverter cables, and 50-foot solar extension cables, all sized for this kit. SunGold provides a wiring diagram for this kit, linked in the manuals section below. Having matched protection and cabling in the box saves sourcing time and helps keep the installation consistent.

Room to Expand

The kit runs two inverters in parallel, and SunGold lists up to 9 SGN7.6K1HB-48 units in parallel if you need more output later. SunGold lists up to 32 SG48100P batteries in parallel, so storage can grow with your needs. Add panels within the inverter solar input limits as your energy use grows.

Real-World Applications

Large off-grid homes. Run air conditioners, well pumps, and full household loads.

Farms and ranches. Power pumps, barns, and equipment.

Light commercial sites. Support offices, shops, and remote facilities.

Extended backup. Ride through long outages with a large battery bank.

How It Compares to Common Alternatives

Versus buying components separately. A kit pairs an inverter, batteries, and panels that SunGold has matched for voltage and current, with breakers and cables sized for the system and a SunGold wiring diagram.

Versus a fuel generator alone. Solar and batteries run quietly with no fuel deliveries. Many off-grid owners still keep a generator for long cloudy stretches, and the inverter can charge the batteries from one.

Versus the SGH-11N3E. The SGH-11N3E reaches the same 30.72kWh of storage with a single 11.4kW inverter and 28 x 450W bifacial panels.

Is This Solar Kit the Right Fit

  • Daily energy. The array produces about 53.1kWh per day at four peak sun hours. Compare that with your average daily use.
  • Loads. The inverters provide 15,200W of continuous 120/240VAC split phase output. This kit supplies 240V for well pumps, dryers, and other 240V appliances.
  • Battery location. The batteries are rated IP20 and belong in a dry, indoor space.
  • Grid connection. The hybrid inverter can export power and use the grid, so check utility interconnection rules before installation.
  • Installation. Have a qualified electrician install the system and follow local codes and permit requirements.

This may be a good fit if

  • You want a matched solar, battery, and inverter package
  • You need 120V and 240V power
  • You want backup power with the option to use or export to the grid
  • You plan to expand the system later

Common Questions
