Yes. When the power grid fails, the energy storage system provides an uninterrupted power to the BACKUP loads. When the grid is restored, the GRID loads resume without manual intervention.
How many battery packs can I connect, and what's the maximum capacity?
You may connect up to 4 battery packs (4.96kWh for each), allowing a maximum storage capacity of 19.84kWh.
Is the B500 battery compatible with other expansion batteries, such as the B300, B300S, or B230?
No, the B500 only works with EP800 and EP900, and it does not works with other types of expansion batteries.
Can I connect a third-party inverter with B500 batteries?
No. The B500 expansion battery is exclusively designed for EP800 and EP900.
