The BLUETTI B500 Expansion Battery is the battery pack for the BLUETTI EP800 and EP900 energy storage systems. Each B500 stores 4,960Wh, and BLUETTI estimates each battery adds about one day of home backup at typical essential-load use. Connect two to four B500 packs per system for 9,920Wh to 19,840Wh of storage.
The B500 is built for permanent home installation, indoors or outdoors. It carries a NEMA 4X and IP65 rating, runs nearly silently at under 25 dB, heats itself in cold weather and is backed by a 10-year warranty.
Each B500 adds 4,960Wh of usable capacity at 90% depth of discharge, so you can size your system to your essential loads and add batteries as your needs grow.
Lithium iron phosphate cells offer long life, thermal stability and safe operation for daily cycling and backup use.
A built-in self-heating feature keeps the system starting and running in chilly conditions. With the inverter connected to the grid, the B500 can charge down to -4°F.
NEMA 4X and IP65 protection against water and dust lets you mount the B500 on a floor or wall, inside or outside your home.
At under 25 dB, the B500 can be installed near living areas without noticeable noise.
