Power for Life on the Move

RV, Van Life & Marine Power

Lithium batteries, inverter chargers, solar and quiet generators for your RV, van or boat, sized for how you travel.

How Do You Travel?

Pick the setup that matches your rig and how far you go from hookups.

On a boat? Choose batteries rated for marine use and have them installed to marine wiring standards.

Power Station or Built-In System?

Both can power your rig. Here's how they differ.

Portable Power Station Built-In Lithium System
Setup Ready out of the box Installed, often by a pro
Wiring None; plug devices in Connects to your rig's 12V system and outlets
Outside the rig Take it to camp or home Stays in the rig
Capacity Up to a few kWh per unit Grows with more batteries
Charging Wall, solar or car outlet Shore power, alternator and solar
Cost to start Lower Higher

How to Choose

  1. List What You'll Run

Write down your daily loads, from lights and the water pump to a fridge, microwave or AC.

  2. Size Your Battery Bank

Add up daily watt-hours and plan for two or three days without sun.

    Read the Sizing Guide
  3. Choose How You'll Charge

Combine shore power, solar and an alternator charger so you're never short.

    Shop Alternator Chargers
  4. Plug In or Install

Go plug-and-play with a power station, or have a lithium system installed.

Common Questions About RV and Marine Power

How much battery do I need for my RV?

Add up your daily use. Lights, fans, a water pump and a 12V fridge typically use 1–2 kWh a day, and a microwave, coffee maker or TV adds more. A 200–300Ah 12V lithium bank (about 2.5–4 kWh) covers most weekends without hookups.

Can I run my RV air conditioner on batteries?

Yes, with enough battery and a large enough inverter. A typical 13,500 BTU RV AC draws about 1,200–1,500 watts while running, so 5 kWh of battery runs it for roughly 3–4 hours. A soft starter helps the AC start on battery power.

Can I charge my batteries while driving?

Yes. An alternator or DC‑to‑DC charger, like the BLUETTI Charger 2 or EcoFlow Alternator Charger, charges your batteries or power station from the engine while you drive.

What's the difference between a power station and a built-in system?

A power station is an all‑in‑one battery and inverter you plug into. A built‑in system wires lithium batteries, an inverter charger and solar into your rig. Compare them in the table above.

Will a power station work on a boat?

Many do, for electronics, lights and small appliances. Keep it dry and secured, since most power stations aren't waterproof. For permanent systems, use batteries rated for marine use and have them installed to marine wiring standards.

Do I need a generator if I have solar?

Not always. In sunny weather, 400W or more of solar can keep up with lights, a fridge and devices. A generator helps with rooftop AC, cloudy stretches and other big loads.
