Which expansion batteries work with the S5000?

Only the BP5000. The BP3800, BP3000 and third-party batteries are not compatible.

Can the S5000 power 240V appliances?

Yes. Its L14-30R outlet supplies 240V at up to 4,500W, for loads like a 2HP well pump, a dryer or a water heater within that rating.

Can I use 120V and 240V outlets at the same time?

No. The S5000 outputs either 120V or 240V at one time, chosen with its 120V and 240V buttons.

How do I connect the S5000 to my home?

Through a compatible transfer switch or power inlet box. Anker's Home Backup Kit covers up to 10 circuits. A licensed electrician should install it, and our home backup installer directory can help you find one. The S5000 does not work with the Anker SOLIX Home Power Panel.
