The BLUETTI Solar Charging Cable 20A MC4 to XT60 for Apex 300 has MC4 connectors on the panel side and an XT60 connector on the power station side. It lets you charge an Apex 300 from solar panels.
It's for Apex 300 owners adding solar, or anyone who needs a spare solar input cable. BLUETTI's Apex 300 manual lists the solar charging cable as a separate item.
The cable has MC4 connectors with red and black leads at one end and a yellow XT60 connector at the other. The Apex 300 has two XT60 DC inputs.
The cable is rated 20A. The Apex 300's solar input accepts panels with an open-circuit voltage of 12V to 60V, up to 20A and up to 1,200W per port.
BLUETTI's manual says you can use third-party solar panels with an open-circuit voltage of 12V to 60V and MC4 connectors. Avoid mixing different types of panels.
Off-grid charging. Recharge the Apex 300 from panels away from a wall outlet.
Backup power. Keep the station topped up from the sun during an outage.
The car cable that comes with the Apex 300 charges at up to 96W from a 12V port or 192W from a 24V port. Solar input accepts up to 1,200W per port, so a solar cable suits larger panels.
Make sure your panels meet the Apex 300 requirements of 12V to 60V open-circuit voltage, 20A maximum current and 1,200W maximum power. In the BLUETTI app's advanced mode, you can adjust the DC input current.
Yes, panels with 12V to 60V open-circuit voltage and MC4 connectors, according to BLUETTI's manual.
