Solar Panels

The SunGoldPower 7.6kW Hybrid Solar Kit Pairs 15.36kWh of LiFePO4 Storage With a 6,000W Solar Array

The SunGoldPower 7.6kW Hybrid Solar Kit with 15.36kWh LiFePO4 Battery (SGH-7.6N3E) is a hybrid solar kit built around a 7.6kW split-phase hybrid inverter (SGN7.6K1HB-48). It includes 12 x 500W monocrystalline solar panels for 6,000W of solar, 3 x 51.2V 100Ah LiFePO4 server rack batteries (SG48100P) for 15.36kWh of storage, and the breakers and cables listed below.

The SGN7.6K1HB-48 inverter supports grid-tie, off-grid, and hybrid operation, so the system can power your home with solar, store energy for outages, and work with the grid when it is available. It is offered with 12 x 500W panels or without panels if you already have an array.

SunGoldPower 7.6kW Hybrid Solar Kit With 15.36kWh Battery Features

7.6kW Hybrid Split-Phase Inverter

The SGN7.6K1HB-48 is a 7.6kW hybrid inverter with 120/240VAC split-phase output and 15,200VA of peak power for 1 second. Three MPPT trackers accept up to 12,000W of solar at up to 600V, and the inverter charges the 48V battery bank at up to 210A (10,000W) and discharges at up to 180A. SunGold lists it for grid-tie, off-grid, and hybrid operation with generator support, and it is certified to UL1741, UL1741 SB, UL1699B, and IEEE 1547:2018 and is CEC listed.

15.36kWh of LiFePO4 Storage

Each SG48100P is a 51.2V, 100Ah (5.12kWh) lithium iron phosphate battery in a 3U server rack format. SunGold rates it for 7,000 or more cycles at 80% depth of discharge with a 15-year design life, and it communicates with the inverter over RS485 or CAN. It is certified to UL1973 and is rated IP20 for indoor installation. Three batteries combine for 15.36kWh of storage.

6,000W Solar Array

The 500W monocrystalline PERC panels (SG500WM) use 132 half-cut cells, carry UL61730 certification and CEC listing, and are rated for 2,400Pa wind and 5,400Pa snow loads. SunGold backs them with a 12-year material and workmanship warranty and a 25-year power output warranty. At four peak sun hours, the 12-panel array produces about 24kWh per day. Actual output depends on location, season, tilt, and shading.

Built-In MPPT Solar Charging

The inverter has built-in MPPT solar charging, so the panels connect directly to the inverter without a separate charge controller. That keeps wiring simpler and reduces the number of components to mount.

Breakers and Cables

SunGold includes DC and PV breakers, battery and inverter cables, and 50-foot solar extension cables, all sized for this kit. SunGold provides a wiring diagram for this kit, linked in the manuals section below. Having matched protection and cabling in the box saves sourcing time and helps keep the installation consistent.

Room to Expand

SunGold lists up to 9 inverters in parallel for a 68.4kW system. SunGold lists up to 32 SG48100P batteries in parallel, so storage can grow with your needs. Add panels within the inverter solar input limits as your energy use grows.

Real-World Applications

Off-grid homes. Run household loads including refrigerators, washers, and well pumps.

Homesteads and farms. Power barns, shops, and pumps far from the grid.

Whole-home backup. Keep power on through extended outages.

Workshops and offices. Support tools, computers, and HVAC loads.

How It Compares to Common Alternatives

Versus buying components separately. A kit pairs an inverter, batteries, and panels that SunGold has matched for voltage and current, with breakers and cables sized for the system and a SunGold wiring diagram.

Versus a fuel generator alone. Solar and batteries run quietly with no fuel deliveries. Many off-grid owners still keep a generator for long cloudy stretches, and the inverter can charge the batteries from one.

Versus the 11.4kW hybrid kits. The SGH-11N2E and SGH-11N3E use an 11.4kW hybrid inverter with more battery storage for larger homes.

Is This Solar Kit the Right Fit

  • Daily energy. The array produces about 24kWh per day at four peak sun hours. Compare that with your average daily use.
  • Loads. The inverter provides 7,600W of continuous 120/240VAC split phase output. This kit supplies 240V for well pumps, dryers, and other 240V appliances.
  • Battery location. The batteries are rated IP20 and belong in a dry, indoor space.
  • Grid connection. The hybrid inverter can export power and use the grid, so check utility interconnection rules before installation.
  • Installation. Have a qualified electrician install the system and follow local codes and permit requirements.

This may be a good fit if

  • You want a matched solar, battery, and inverter package
  • You need 120V and 240V power
  • You want backup power with the option to use or export to the grid
  • You plan to expand the system later

Common Questions
