Find The EcoFlow TITAN Whole-Home Battery That Fits Your Home

The EcoFlow TITAN series brings whole-home battery backup to homeowners who want serious outage protection with less installation work than a traditional hardwired home battery. Every TITAN starts with a 5kWh LFP battery built into the main unit, and each one expands to 30kWh with up to five TITAN Battery 5kWh packs.

Three models share that foundation. They differ in output and solar input.

  • TITAN 5000 Plus. 7,200W of 120V/240V split-phase output, up to 10,000W when solar is producing, and 8,000W of solar input across two inputs. The pick for homes that want the most from solar.
  • TITAN 5000. The same 7,200W split-phase output with 4,000W of solar input on one input, for homes with 240V appliances such as compatible central air.
  • TITAN 5000 Classic. 4,000W of 120V output and 3,200W of solar input, for essentials like the refrigerator, lights, Wi-Fi and computers in apartments and smaller homes.

Add the Smart Home Panel 10 to back up to 10 household circuits automatically, with switchover in under 20 milliseconds. On the TITAN 5000 and TITAN 5000 Plus, its built-in CT sensor also lets TITAN work alongside compatible rooftop solar through AC coupling. The panel must be installed by a licensed electrician, and our home backup installer directory can help you find one.

EcoFlow TITAN Series Collection FAQs

What is the EcoFlow TITAN series?

The EcoFlow TITAN series is a family of whole-home battery backup systems: the TITAN 5000 Classic, TITAN 5000 and TITAN 5000 Plus. Each main unit combines an inverter with a built-in 5kWh LFP battery and expands to 30kWh with TITAN Battery 5kWh packs. Paired with the Smart Home Panel 10, a TITAN system backs up selected home circuits automatically during an outage.

What is the difference between the TITAN 5000 Classic, TITAN 5000 and TITAN 5000 Plus?

All three start at 5kWh and expand to 30kWh. The Classic delivers 4,000W at 120V with 3,200W of solar input. The TITAN 5000 delivers 7,200W of 120V/240V split-phase power with 4,000W of solar input. The TITAN 5000 Plus adds a second solar input for 8,000W total, up to 10,000W of output when solar is producing, and X-Boost 2.0 for up to 5kW on either 120V leg.

Can a TITAN run my central air conditioner?

The TITAN 5000 and TITAN 5000 Plus deliver 7,200W of 120V/240V output. EcoFlow says they can start and run a compatible 3-ton central air conditioner without an added soft starter, as long as its startup requirements are within TITAN's capabilities. The TITAN 5000 Classic is 120V only, so it does not power 240V appliances like central air.

Do I need the Smart Home Panel 10?

Not to get started, since you can plug appliances directly into a TITAN. The Smart Home Panel 10 connects TITAN to up to 10 selected household circuits for automatic backup. The TITAN 5000 and TITAN 5000 Plus use the 240V panel, and the TITAN 5000 Classic uses the 120V version.

Will TITAN work with the rooftop solar I already have?

Yes, if your system is compatible. Paired with the Smart Home Panel 10, the TITAN 5000 and TITAN 5000 Plus work alongside existing rooftop solar through AC coupling, without replacing your panels or inverter. They store surplus daytime solar for the evening or peak-rate hours, with no export to the grid. Your installer confirms compatibility.

Where can a TITAN be installed?

TITAN is rated IP20 for indoor use, so it needs a dry, ventilated space such as a garage or utility room. It charges between 32°F and 113°F and discharges between 14°F and 113°F. Main units weigh roughly 102 to 121 lb depending on the model, and each TITAN Battery 5kWh weighs 82.7 lb.

Is TITAN safe to use inside my home?

TITAN uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells, known for thermal stability, with 24/7 battery management monitoring. TITAN main units carry UL 9540, UL 1973 and UL 2743 certifications and are tested to UL 9540A, and the TITAN Battery 5kWh is UL 1973 certified.

Can I install a TITAN myself?

If you are plugging appliances directly into TITAN, you can set it up yourself by following EcoFlow's guide. Installing the Smart Home Panel 10 in your home's electrical system requires a qualified, licensed electrician. Our home backup installer directory can help you find one.

How do I recharge TITAN during a long outage?

Solar panels connected directly to TITAN's solar input keep charging it, and an EcoFlow or third-party generator can recharge it through the included AC charging cable. Grid-tied rooftop solar shuts down during an outage for safety, so it cannot charge TITAN until the grid returns.

What warranty comes with TITAN?

TITAN main units, the TITAN Battery 5kWh and the Smart Home Panel 10 each carry a 5-year warranty under EcoFlow's warranty policy.

How much battery capacity can a TITAN system have?

Every TITAN main unit includes a 5kWh battery (5,017.6Wh). You can add up to five TITAN Battery 5kWh packs for 30kWh total, either at purchase or later as your needs grow. Extra batteries add runtime, not output power.

How much solar can I connect directly to a TITAN?

The TITAN 5000 Plus accepts up to 8,000W across two solar inputs of 4,000W each (40-450V, 16A). The TITAN 5000 accepts 4,000W on one input (40-450V, 16A), and the TITAN 5000 Classic accepts 3,200W on one input (30-250V, 16A). Our TITAN solar kits are sized to stay within these limits.

How fast does TITAN switch to battery power during an outage?

With the Smart Home Panel 10 installed, TITAN switches your backed-up circuits to battery in under 20 milliseconds. With appliances plugged directly into TITAN, it switches within 10 milliseconds. For medical or other sensitive equipment, check the device maker's backup power requirements.

How does TITAN compare with the EcoFlow DELTA Pro Ultra X?

Both handle whole-home backup and daily energy savings at different scales. A TITAN system ranges from 5kWh to 30kWh with 4kW to 7.2kW of output, or up to 10kW with solar on the TITAN 5000 Plus. The EcoFlow DELTA Pro Ultra X scales to 12-36kW of output and 12-180kWh of capacity for larger homes or frequent long outages.
