The SunGold Power 200 Feet Solar Cable (SC-10AWG200F) is a 10 AWG solar extension cable for long distances between your solar array and your equipment. It is well suited to ground-mounted arrays placed away from the house or shop for better sun exposure.
Heavy 10 AWG conductors help keep voltage drop under control over long runs, and the extra length lets you cut and terminate the cable to suit your layout.
Plenty of length for distant ground mounts, barns, and outbuildings.
10 AWG wire reduces losses compared with thinner cable over the same distance.
Cut to length for multiple runs or a single long run.
Remote ground mounts. Place panels in the sunniest spot on your property.
Barns and shops. Run power between buildings.
Large installations. Wire several strings from one spool.
Versus the 50 foot cable. The 50 foot cable suits shorter runs and is included in many SunGold kits.
Versus thinner wire. 10 AWG is better for long PV runs.
10 AWG.
Yes, cut it to length and install connectors suited to your system.
