The Rich Solar MEGA 50 ONYX 50 Watt 12V Solar Panel is a compact, rigid 12V off-grid panel that delivers 50W from 30 N-Type TOPCon cells with 18 busbars and up to 25.3% efficiency. It measures 23.6 x 18.1 x 1.2 inches and weighs 7.3 pounds, so it fits small mounting areas on boats, vans, trailers and sheds.
The panel is certified to UL 61730, IEC 61215 and CSA C22.2. Pre-attached 12 AWG leads, 2 ft each, with IP67 MC4 connectors and an IP67 junction box make it easy to wire to a charge controller.
The 30-cell design uses 18-busbar N-Type TOPCon cells with up to 25.3% efficiency. Rich Solar guarantees a positive power output of 0 to +5W, so the panel delivers at least its rated 50W at standard test conditions.
The cells and 3.2 mm AR-coated tempered glass keep producing on cloudy days and at dawn and dusk, which helps a small battery stay topped up.
The panel is designed to withstand salt, ammonia, sand, high temperatures and humidity. It is certified for 2,400 Pa wind loads and 5,400 Pa snow loads, and the IP67 junction box and connectors keep out dust and water.
