The SunGold Power 200 Amp DC Breaker (DHM1B-200) is a 500V DC battery disconnect breaker for main power, solar, UPS, and power station applications. It uses a thermal magnetic trip mechanism to protect against overloads and short circuits, and it provides a manual isolation point between your batteries and inverter.
SunGold includes 200A DC breakers in many of its off-grid kits between the battery bank and inverter.
The breaker responds to sustained overloads (thermal) and to short circuits (magnetic), protecting cables and equipment.
Switch the breaker off to isolate the battery bank for maintenance or emergencies.
SunGold notes the breaker installs easily in compartments and is accessible from the front.
