The SunGold Power 6000W DC 24V Split Phase Pure Sine Wave Inverter With Charger is a low-frequency LFP Series unit that combines a 6000W inverter, a 90A battery charger and an AC auto-transfer switch. It runs on a 24V battery bank, requires 240VAC input, and outputs 120VAC and 240VAC pure sine wave power.

SunGold builds it for running a whole small home, a business, an RV system, a trailer or a boat, in off-grid systems or as an emergency backup supply. With two hot legs, it can feed a 240V panel that is already in place.

6000W Split Phase Output

Each leg supplies 3000W. Connect a 240V load and the inverter can deliver the full 6000W. Connect 120V loads and each 120V leg delivers up to 3000W. That split matters when you plan which circuits go on which leg.

18000W Surge and a 6HP Motor Rating

The inverter handles 18000W for 20 seconds, three times its continuous rating, and SunGold rates the 6KW models to start a 6HP electric motor. That reserve covers well pumps, air compressors and other heavy start-up loads.

90A Built-In Charger

From grid or generator power, the charger refills the 24V bank at 90A ±5A. Charge current adjusts from 0% to 100% with a linear switch, and nine battery type settings cover gel, AGM, sealed lead acid, lithium and LiFePO4.

Two Cooling Fans

The 6KW models use two controlled DC fans. Their speed rises with heat sink temperature, charge current and load, with a noise target under 60dB at 1m.

Transfer in About 10 Milliseconds

The transfer switch moves loads between shore power and battery power automatically within about 10 milliseconds. When AC returns, a 15-second delay gives a generator time to stabilize before the loads transfer back.

LCD Status and Fault Messages

The LCD shows AC input status and voltage, output voltage and frequency, battery voltage and output load. When the AC input is missing or out of range, it displays "AC abnormal".

Priority Modes and Auto Generator Start

AC priority is the default, and SW5 switches the inverter to battery priority for solar or wind systems with grid backup. The inverter can also start and stop a generator with auto start capability based on battery voltage.
