Automatic Breaker Trip Prevention

When total current reaches approximately 18 amps, the switch disconnects the secondary load to help prevent the 20 amp circuit breaker from tripping.

Priority Power Where It Matters

The switch has one AC input and two outputs. Circuit A is the priority branch and stays powered when the overload threshold is reached. Circuit B is the secondary load, which is temporarily disconnected.

Automatic Secondary Load Restoration

The secondary circuit reconnects automatically once current drops below the preset level, so there is no need to reset anything by hand.

Short Delay and Long Delay Modes

Is This Switch the Right Fit

• Circuit size. It is designed for a single 20 amp branch circuit, with 18 amp maximum input and output current at 120 VAC, 50/60 Hz.
• Load priority. Decide which appliance should always stay on and wire it to Circuit A. Wire the appliance that can pause to Circuit B.
• Appliance type. Choose Long Delay mode for compressor appliances and Short Delay mode for appliances without compressors.
• Wiring. AIMS Power recommends 12 AWG minimum and 8 AWG maximum wire. Use a qualified installer if you are not comfortable with AC wiring.
