The BLUETTI B300K Expansion Battery is a 2,764.8 Wh, 51.2V, 54Ah lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack that connects to a compatible BLUETTI power station to extend its capacity. It comes with the P090A battery expansion cable, which links it to an AC300, AC200L or AC200MAX, or to another B300K.
It's for AC300 and AC200L owners who want longer runtime for home backup, off-grid living or long stays away from the grid without buying a second power station. BLUETTI also lists the AC500 as a host when you add the separately sold P090D to P150D cable.
Each B300K stores 2,764.8 Wh at 51.2V and 54Ah using LFP cells. Connected to your power station, it works as an expansion pack that adds to the energy your system can deliver.
An AC300 takes up to 4 B300K units for 11,059.2 Wh of expansion capacity. The AC200L and AC200MAX each take up to 2 units for 5,529.6 Wh, and the AC500 takes up to 6 units for 16,588.8 Wh. The AC300 can also run B300K and B300 expansion batteries together using P090A cables.
The B300K charges through the power station it's connected to. On an AC300 or AC500, it charges from 5% to 80% in about 45 minutes. When the combined system charges from AC power or solar panels, the B300K turns on automatically.
The included P090A cable is 31.49 in (800 mm) long. Press it down into the port and push to lock it in place. If the cable isn't locked, the power button flashes twice, pauses for 4 seconds and repeats, so you know to check the connection.
With the B300K connected to your power station, you can check its battery level and update its firmware in the BLUETTI app under Settings, then Firmware Upgrade.
A USB-A port on the front delivers 5V at 2.4A, up to 12W, so you can charge small USB devices directly from the pack.
Five LED indicators show the state of charge, with each lit light representing 20%. They stay steady when the pack is full and flash to show charging progress.
Home backup. Add one or more B300K packs to an AC300 to keep essential loads running longer through an outage.
Off-grid power. Extra stored energy lets your AC200L or AC300 carry loads through the night, then the whole system recharges from solar panels the next day.
Growing an existing system. Start with your power station and add B300K packs as your needs grow, up to the limit your host supports.
A second power station gives you a separate set of outlets and its own inverter. The B300K instead adds capacity to the power station you already own, so the extra energy is available through the outlets you already use and charges through the power station's inputs.
One B300K adds 2,764.8 Wh. On an AC300, four packs add 11,059.2 Wh, while the AC200L tops out at two packs and 5,529.6 Wh. Each pack weighs about 65.04 lbs (29.5 kg), so plan the space and handling for the number you add.
The included P090A cable connects the B300K to an AC300, AC200MAX or AC200L, and also links B300K units to each other. Connecting to an AC500 requires the P090D to P150D battery expansion cable, which isn't included. On an AC500, the B300K can run together with B300 and B300S packs using the cables BLUETTI specifies for each pairing.
Charge the B300K between 32°F and 104°F (0°C to 40°C), with 59°F to 86°F (15°C to 30°C) recommended, and discharge it between -4°F and 104°F (-20°C to 40°C). Before storage, charge it to 60% to 80% and run a full cycle every 6 months. For storage longer than 6 months, keep it at 40% to 60% and cycle it every 3 months. Use and store it in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place, and don't move it while it's in use.

The B300K keeps a reserve to prevent overdischarging and protect the battery's lifespan. If the state of charge drops to 1% with no power coming in, power the pack off promptly.
