The Firman 2040 Parallel Cord Kit connects two compatible Firman Whisper Series inverter generators. It delivers up to 50 amps (6000 watts) of combined 120V power through a 5-foot cord setup and a 14-50R 50A, 120V outlet.
It's for times when one generator isn't enough, such as powering an RV, expanding home backup capacity or running high-demand equipment on a job site.
Linking two compatible generators gives you up to 50 amps (6000 watts) of combined 120V power for high-demand applications.
The kit's 14-50R 50A, 120V outlet gives you one connection point for the combined output.
The kit is intended only for Firman inverter generators in the W01600/W01700, WH02900/WH03000, WH03200/WH03300, WH03500/WH03600 and W02000 series.

Versus a generic parallel kit. The 2040 is intended only for the Firman inverter generator series listed here, so check your model first.
