An integrated 10 amp transfer switch bypasses the inverter when utility power is available and switches to your 48 volt DC backup source when it fails, with a typical transfer time of less than 20 milliseconds. A built-in RS232 port allows remote monitoring from a PC, making it a practical choice for server rooms, telecom racks and mission-critical installations.

Compact 1U Rack Mount Design
The inverter fits a single rack unit, measuring 19" x 14" x 1.7" and weighing 11 pounds, so it installs alongside servers, switches and telecom equipment.
Clean 120 Volt Pure Sine Wave Output
It supplies 1000 watts continuous and 2000 watts peak of 60 Hz pure sine power at 91% efficiency, suitable for sensitive electronics and IT hardware.
Seamless Automatic Power Transfer
When utility power is available, the system automatically bypasses the inverter. If utility power fails, it switches to your DC backup source in under 20 milliseconds, so connected equipment continues operating with virtually no disruption. In backup mode, it supplies continuous AC power as long as sufficient DC voltage is available from your battery source.
RS232 Remote Monitoring
The RS232 communication port lets you monitor DC input voltage, AC output voltage, output frequency and AC output current from a PC. AIMS Power provides downloadable software for this model.

- DC input range. Operating voltage is 41.0 to 60.0 volts DC.
- Charging. It does not include a battery charger, so plan for a separate charging source.
- Outlets. Output is through dual three-prong AC receptacles.
