The AIMS Power 230 Watt Slim and Flexible Monocrystalline Solar Panel delivers dependable energy for off-grid and mobile power systems where traditional rigid panels cannot be installed. Built with monocrystalline cells and anti-cracking film, it bends up to 60°, has a profile comparable to the thickness of a nickel, and installs with adhesives, straps, Velcro or zip ties through pre-drilled grommet holes. An IP65 rated junction box, a bypass diode for partial shade and MC4 type connectors make it a practical choice for RVs, boats, vans, buses, golf carts and other curved or irregular mounting surfaces.
The panel is designed to bend up to 60°, allowing installation on RV roofs, boats, vans, buses and utility vehicles where rigid panels cannot fit.
Monocrystalline cells deliver 22.1% cell efficiency and 20.1% module efficiency, with light transmittance up to 93%, for strong energy harvest in compact spaces.
A profile comparable to the thickness of a nickel and light weight make the panel well suited to weight-sensitive mobile applications.
Anti-cracking film and weather resistant materials help the panel withstand outdoor environments. It operates from -40°F to 185°F, and the junction box is IP65 rated.
Integrated bypass diode technology reduces power loss when portions of the panel are shaded.
Pre-drilled grommet holes allow installation using zip ties, straps, Velcro, adhesives or industrial stitching, for temporary or permanent setups.
Each module is independently tested for regulatory conformance and produced in an ISO 9001 certified facility. The panel carries CE, ETL, TUV and RoHS certifications.
RVs, vans and buses. Mount on curved roofs to charge house batteries.
Boats. Add solar to curved decks and cabin tops.
Golf carts and utility vehicles. Supplement battery charging with a low profile panel.
Off-grid adventures. Use straps or ties for temporary installations.
Versus rigid framed panels. Rigid panels need flat mounting and racking. This flexible panel conforms to curved surfaces and adds little weight.
Versus the AIMS Power 130 watt flexible panel. AIMS Power also offers a 130 watt slim flexible panel. This 230 watt model provides more power from a single panel at 62" x 32".
This may be a good fit if
Up to 60°.
Maximum power is 230 watts, with Imp of 12.74 amps, Voc of 21.6 volts and Isc of 13.5 amps.
Use adhesives, straps, Velcro or zip ties through the pre-drilled grommet holes, choosing the method that suits your surface.
AIMS Power lists a 7 year, 90% output warranty and a 10 year, 80% output warranty.
