The AIMS Power Remote Battery Monitor is a high-precision meter that lets you check the status of your battery on the included monitor display or on your smartphone through the Bluetooth app. Using a current shunt, it measures discharge and recharge currents and calculates the ampere-hours going in and out of your battery, while a field-installed sense wire provides real-time, high-precision voltage measurements. It handles up to 500 amps on systems from 8 to 80 volts DC and works with lithium-ion, lead-acid and nickel-metal hydride batteries. The menu is simple and gives you the information you need without toggling through screen after screen, and the monitor is backed by a 5 year warranty.
The monitor displays the readings that matter most for managing a battery bank:
Check your battery on the included display or on your smartphone with the Bluetooth app, so you can see system status without walking to the battery compartment.
The current shunt measures the current flowing into and out of the battery, and the monitor calculates ampere-hours from those readings. Voltage, current and capacity accuracy are each rated at plus or minus 1%.
The monitor works from 8 to 80 volts DC and measures up to 500 amps, with capacity settings from 0.1 to 999 amp-hours. That covers most 12, 24 and 48 volt battery systems.

The monitor draws a maximum of 14 milliamps when active, 0.8 milliamps in standby and 80 microamps in sleep mode, so it does not become a meaningful load on your battery.
