I have been looking at a cooler for a road trip that would not be an issue of drawing to much power from the car, could function when the car is off for night and would have two separate sections (refrig and freezer) as an option. This fit the bill and was the best price I could find on Outbound Power.

What a great unit. This thing ran a 15000 btu camper air conditioner on a 2006 unit at full blast for 110 minutes. At the same time it was charging the camper batteries. Amazing. I never thought I would see such a small unit do that. The two solar panels are nice. The most I could get in charge was 350 watts per hour which was not the advertised 400 in full sun on a hot day but I was still able to charge it from the 29 percent to 100 percent over ten hours which is pretty good. If I had room and the money I would buy a stronger panel the next time. This is my first time using anything solar.

You are also spot on about solar input. Reaching around 350W instead of the full 400W is not unusual depending on heat, panel angle, and overall conditions. Getting from 29% to 100% in about ten hours is a strong result.

There is a lot to I need to learn about solar power but so far so good with this power station. I do like the Ecoflow app and the delta 3 ultra plus. It is an impressive unit. This unit manageable. I really wanted the Ecoflow delta pro 3 but was afraid of the extra weight. As heavy as it is with the wheels I would still consider it portable as necessary. I am pleased to have found Outbound Power. They also had the best price on the unit. Delivery by Fed Ex went smoothly.

The 100W solar panel works great with my Explorer 1000. It keeps my portable fridge charged and plenty of juice for a lot of other things. It’s compact enough and easy to carry.
