The Firman Natural Gas 10' Hose with Storage Strap Connects Your Firman Tri-Fuel Generator to a Natural Gas Supply

The Firman 1805 is a 10-foot, 1/2" natural gas (NG) quick connect hose kit for Firman Tri-Fuel generators. It fits all Firman Tri-Fuel models except the V-twin series (T12071 and T13071).

The kit includes the hose, a quick connect adapter for your gas piping and a coupling for the generator, with all brass fittings.

Quick Connect Couplings

Pull back the adapter's sleeve, insert the hose's male plug, then release the sleeve and push until it locks. The quick disconnect lets you remove the hose when you don't need it.

Complete Connection Kit

The adapter (1/2" NPT female to quick connect female socket) connects to your gas piping. The coupling (SAE 1/2" flare male to SAE 3/8" flare female) fits the generator's 3/8" flare male natural gas inlet.

All Brass Fittings and Weather Cap

An all-weather cap protects the brass hose fitting. When you disconnect the hose, put the plastic plug in the socket and the cap over the hose plug.

Hose Designed for Movement

The hose is designed for movement after installation. Keep it free of kinks, twists and torque.

Versus the Firman 1815. The 1815 is Firman's 25' natural gas hose, for setups that need more length.

Versus a generic gas hose. This kit includes the matching adapter and generator coupling, and Firman says to use only the provided adapter with the provided hose.

Is This Natural Gas Hose the Right Fit

• Certified plumber. Connection to outdoor gas piping must be done by a certified plumber, following local codes or NFPA 54/ANSI Z223.1.
• Gas pressure. The generator's demand regulator needs 0.25 to 0.40 PSI (7-11 inches of water column). The hose and adapter are rated only to 0.5 PSI, and higher pressure needs an in-line regulator (not included).
• Piping outlet. Your piping needs a gas shut-off valve and a 1/2" NPT male outlet. Other outlets need extra fittings (not included).
• Outdoor use. The kit is for outdoor use only, with a portable natural gas generator.

How Do I Check for Leaks?

Leak test every connection before each use. With the gas on, apply an ammonia-free soapy water or leak detection solution to each joint. Growing bubbles mean a leak. Never use an open flame.

Firman covers the 1805 with a 120 day warranty.
