Coiled Renogy 4/0AWG adapter cable with red and black leads between a gray Anderson connector and silver ring lugs

The Renogy 1FT 4/0AWG Anderson Adapter Cable Anderson SB350 to 3/8 in Lugs Adds a REGO Battery to Your System With Plug-In Connections

The Renogy 1FT 4/0AWG Anderson Adapter Cable Anderson SB350 to 3/8 in Lugs is a 1 ft pair of 4/0 AWG cables. One end has an Anderson SB350 connector and the other end has a pair of 3/8 in ring lugs.

Renogy designed it for REGO series products. Use it to add a REGO 12V lithium battery to your existing system, or to connect a REGO inverter charger to your system combiner.

Renogy 1FT 4/0AWG Anderson Adapter Cable Anderson SB350 to 3/8 in Lugs Features

Anderson SB350 Plug-In Connector

Renogy says the secure Anderson connector reduces setup time, with no special tools or complicated wiring. Two of these connectors mate with each other when you invert one of them.

4/0 AWG Tinned Copper Wire

The cable uses 4/0 AWG high-purity oxygen-free tinned copper wire with insulation, rated 600V. Renogy notes the 1 ft length does not include the connectors.

3/8 in Ring Lugs

The red and black cables each end in a 3/8 in ring lug for a terminal busbar or battery post. The lugs are tin-plated copper with heat-shrink at the cable.

Rated for Temperature and Vibration

Renogy rates the cable for -40°C to 105°C (-40°F to 221°F). The contacts are silver plated, and Renogy says the connectors have been tested under harsh vibration. The cable is UL and RoHS compliant.

Real-World Applications

Adding a REGO battery. Connect a REGO 12V lithium battery to your existing system through terminal busbars.

REGO inverter charger to combiner. Renogy lists this as a second use, linking the inverter charger to your system combiner.

Practical Comparison

Anderson Adapter Cable Versus Making Your Own Cable

A home-made cable needs lugs, connectors and crimping tools. This cable comes assembled with the connector and lugs, so you do not need special tools.

Buyer Guidance

Match the Terminals

The lugs are 3/8 in, so check that your busbar or terminal accepts a 3/8 in lug. Renogy's diagram shows M8 terminal busbars and M8 ring terminal cables sold separately.

Replacement Terminals

If a terminal is damaged, Renogy says you can replace it with the same size terminal. The Anderson terminal is the SB350 size.

This May Be A Good Fit If

  • You are adding a REGO 12V lithium battery to a system
  • You want an Anderson SB350 plug-in connection
  • You need a short 1 ft run to a busbar

Common Questions

Can Two Cables Connect to Each Other?

Yes. Renogy says the connectors are the same, so you invert one and they plug into each other.

Can I Replace a Damaged Terminal?

Yes. Buy the same size terminal as a replacement.

What Warranty Does It Have?

Renogy lists a 1-year material and workmanship warranty.
