The Renogy Golf Cart 51.2V 105Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery is a complete lithium conversion for 48V golf carts. One 5,376Wh battery takes the place of a bank of lead-acid batteries, cuts more than 200 pounds from the cart and provides enough energy for two or more rounds on an 18-hole course, with up to 52 miles of range per charge depending on terrain, speed and vehicle.
It ships with everything needed for the switch, including a 20A lithium battery charger, a dash-mount battery indicator, extension cables and mounting hardware. Inside, a 220A battery management system balances the cells and handles protection, Bluetooth links the battery to the Renogy app, and a FireFade fire suppression system and pressure-relief valve add extra layers of safety.
With 105Ah at 51.2V, the battery stores 5,376Wh. That is enough for two or more rounds of golf, or up to 52 miles of driving, before it needs a charge.
The battery supplies 210A continuously and up to 400A for 30 seconds, which helps on hills, in wet grass and when carrying passengers. Renogy recommends it for golf cart motors rated from 3.5kW to 7.5kW.
At 106.92 lbs, the battery weighs a fraction of a typical lead-acid set. A lighter cart is easier on turf, accelerates more readily and puts less strain on the motor and suspension.
If internal temperature reaches 338°F (170°C), the built-in FireFade extinguisher releases suppressant to cool the battery and stop flames from spreading. A one-way vent valve releases internal pressure that can build up over long use.
The battery switches itself off after 5 days of inactivity, so a cart left on over a long break does not drain the battery.
Built-in Bluetooth connects to the Renogy app for live voltage, current and state of charge. The included battery indicator mounts on the dash for an at-a-glance reading.

Versus battery-only lithium upgrades. Many lithium packs ship without a charger or indicator. This kit includes a matched 20A charger, indicator and cables, so the swap can be done right away.
Versus smaller 48V lithium batteries. A 50Ah or 60Ah pack costs less but gives roughly half the range. The 105Ah size suits regular play, hilly courses and carts with lift kits or extra seats.
