The Rich Solar 1200 Watt 24V Complete Solar Kit is a 24V off-grid power system with matched components for charging, storage and AC power. It includes six MEGA 200 monocrystalline panels, a 60A MPPT charge controller, two ALPHA 4 24V 100Ah LiFePO4 batteries and a 3000W 24V pure sine wave inverter, plus the brackets, fuse, adapters and cables to connect them.

The array produces about 4.3kWh per day with 4 peak sun hours, the two batteries store 5.12kWh, and the inverter delivers 3,000W continuous and 6,000W surge of 120V AC power. It suits RVs, cabins, tiny homes, trailers and off-grid backup power.

Six MEGA 200 Monocrystalline Panels

Each MEGA 200 generates 10.9A at its maximum power point and works in series or parallel. The panels have anti-reflective coated tempered glass, anodized aluminum frames, 14 pre-drilled holes and good low-light performance, with a 25-year power output warranty and 10-year workmanship warranty.

60A MPPT Charge Controller

The RS-MPPT60 reaches up to 99% tracking efficiency and 98% peak conversion efficiency. It detects 12V, 24V, 36V or 48V systems, accepts up to 150V of solar input at 77°F, and is rated for 1,600W of solar at 24V. An LCD screen shows system data, and an RS232 port connects to the optional BT-1 Bluetooth module.

Two ALPHA 4 24V 100Ah LiFePO4 Batteries

Each ALPHA 4 stores 2,560Wh and is rated for over 5,000 cycles. The batteries have a 100A BMS, internal heating for low-temperature charging, Bluetooth monitoring from your phone, an IP65 rating and UL94 V-0 flame-retardant cases, with a 5-year warranty.

3000W 24V Pure Sine Wave Inverter

The RS-V3P24 converts 24V DC to 120V AC at 60 Hz with over 88% efficiency. It has three AC outlets and a 5V 2.1A USB port, plus electronic overload, low battery voltage and over-temperature protection with automatic shutdown, output short-circuit protection and a built-in backup DC fuse.

The kit includes six sets of Z brackets, a 30A inline fuse, a Y branch parallel adapter, a 30 ft panel-to-controller cable set, a 10 ft 8 AWG controller-to-battery cable set, an 8 ft 4 AWG battery cable set and red and black 1 ft 2 AWG inverter battery cables.

What Can I Run With This Kit?

The inverter supplies 3,000W continuous for appliances, tools and electronics. Run time depends on their wattage, the 5.12kWh stored in the batteries and how much sun the panels receive.

Can the Batteries Charge in Cold Weather?

Yes. The ALPHA 4 batteries have internal heating so they can charge in low temperatures. Charging is rated from 32°F to 131°F.

How Are the Panels Wired?

The MEGA 200 panels work in series or parallel. Keep each string under the controller's 150V input limit, combine strings with the Y branch adapter, and follow the controller manual.

Does the Controller Have Bluetooth?

Not built in. The RS232 port works with Rich Solar's BT-1 Bluetooth module, sold separately. The ALPHA 4 batteries have their own phone monitoring.
