It supports 300A of continuous charge and discharge current, which is enough headroom for a large 12V inverter, and up to four units connect in parallel for 1,200Ah at 12V.
Built-in internal heating lets the ALPHA 3 charge safely in cold weather, and Bluetooth monitoring through the RICH SOLAR app shows battery status in real time. Grade A+ LiFePO4 cells are rated for 5,000+ cycles, the housing is UL94 V-0 flame-retardant with an IP65 rating, and Rich Solar backs the battery with a 5-year warranty.
One ALPHA 3 replaces three 100Ah batteries, with one set of terminals and one BMS. That simplifies wiring and saves space in an RV bay, van or cabin battery box.
The BMS allows 300A of continuous current in both directions. That supports high-draw loads like a 3,000W 12V inverter and fast charging from large alternator chargers, inverter chargers and solar arrays.
LiFePO4 cells should not be charged below freezing. The ALPHA 3 automatically warms itself so it can charge safely in cold weather, and low-temperature charging protection pauses charging until conditions are safe.
