The Rich Solar MEGA 100 PRO FLEX 100 Watt 24V Flexible Solar Panel is an ultra-thin 24V off-grid panel that delivers 100W from 10-busbar monocrystalline cells with up to 22.8% efficiency. It weighs just 4.8 pounds, is only 0.1 inch thick, and Rich Solar rates it to bend up to 360 degrees to fit curved surfaces.
The long, narrow 58.3 x 15.7 inch format suits RV roofs, boat decks, trailers and van tops. Pre-attached 12 AWG leads, 3 ft each, with MC4 connectors and an IP68 junction box make wiring simple, and the panel mounts with pre-drilled holes or its adhesive backing.
The 0.1 inch profile bends to follow curved roofs and decks where a rigid framed panel cannot sit flat. It stays low against the surface once installed.
With a 34.2V maximum power voltage and a 40.8V open circuit voltage, the MEGA 100 PRO FLEX is built for 24V off-grid systems. At 4.8 pounds, one person can carry and place it easily.
The cells reach up to 22.8% efficiency and deliver strong low-light performance on cloudy days and at dawn and dusk. The 0 to +5W power tolerance means the panel delivers at least its rated 100W at standard test conditions.
A low temperature coefficient of -0.35% per °C helps hold output in high temperatures. The panel is rated to operate from -40°F to 185°F.
Non-destructive cell cutting technology minimizes micro-cracks, and advanced manufacturing processes and premium materials improve PID resistance. The panel is rated for 5,400 Pa snow loads and 2,400 Pa wind loads.
The IP68 junction box and IP67 connectors protect against dust and water for marine, RV and off-grid use.
Curved RV roofs. Add solar to a rounded roof without a rigid frame or tall brackets.
Boats. Lay the panel along a curved deck or cabin top.
Vans and trailers. The narrow 15.7 inch width fits between roof fans and racks.
24V off-grid systems. Charge a 24V battery bank in a cabin, shed or mobile build.
Versus rigid glass panels. Rigid panels need a flat surface and brackets. The MEGA 100 PRO FLEX weighs much less and follows a curve, but it carries a shorter warranty than Rich Solar's rigid MEGA panels.
Versus a 12V flexible panel. A 24V panel runs at higher voltage and lower current for the same wattage. That can mean less current in long cable runs, but you need a controller and battery setup that suits the higher voltage.
Versus the MEGA 200 PRO FLEX. The 200W version doubles the output in a larger panel. The 100W MEGA 100 PRO FLEX fits smaller roofs and lighter loads.
This may be a good fit if
The panel has pre-drilled mounting holes and an adhesive backing, so it can be fastened or bonded to the surface.
No. A charge controller is all you need to charge a battery. An inverter is only needed to run AC appliances from the battery.
Only if it is used without a charge controller. Always use a charge controller when charging a battery.
Rich Solar provides a 1-year material and workmanship warranty on the MEGA 100 PRO FLEX.
The Rich Solar MEGA 100 PRO FLEX 100 Watt 24V Flexible Solar Panel brings efficient 24V charging to curved roofs and decks in a 4.8 pound, 0.1 inch thin panel. At Outbound Power, we help customers pair panels with the right charge controllers, batteries and cables. If you have questions, our team is happy to help.
