The Rich Solar MEGA 550 Bifacial 550 Watt Solar Panel is a large-format bifacial panel that delivers 550W from 144 N-Type TOPCon cells with up to 25.1% cell efficiency and 23% module efficiency. Its rear side collects reflected light, and Rich Solar rates the bifacial design for up to 25% additional rear-side power gain, depending on surface albedo. It works with both on-grid and off-grid inverters and is certified to UL 61730, IEC 61215 and CSA C22.2.

Bifacial Power Gain

Light reflected from the ground, gravel, concrete or a light roof reaches the back of the panel through its rear glass. Rich Solar rates that rear side for up to 25% additional power gain, depending on how reflective the surface below is.

16-Busbar N-Type TOPCon Cells

The 144-cell layout uses 16-busbar N-Type TOPCon cells with up to 25.1% efficiency. Excellent IAM and low-light performance keep the panel producing at low sun angles, on cloudy days and at dawn and dusk.

At Least the Rated Output

The 0 to +5W power tolerance means each panel delivers at least its rated 550W at standard test conditions, so a full pallet gives you the array size you planned for.

Dual 2.0 mm Tempered Glass

Tempered glass on the front and rear, 2.0 mm on each side, adds durability and lets light reach the rear cells. The anodized aluminum frame is strong and corrosion resistant.

Rated for Snow and Wind

Each panel is rated for 5,400 Pa snow loads and 2,400 Pa wind loads. The cells are PID resistant, every panel is 100% EL inspected to help prevent microcracks, and the IP68 junction box and IP67 connectors keep out dust and water.

Eight pre-drilled mounting holes fit Z brackets, tilt mounts, pole mounts and ground racking. Pre-attached 12 AWG leads, 4 ft each, with MC4 connectors speed up string wiring.
