The SunGold Power 13kW 48VDC Off-Grid Solar Kit is SunGold's SGR-13K25E package. It combines two 6500W split phase inverters, twenty-two 450W bifacial N-type panels and five 5.12kWh server rack LiFePO4 batteries in an enclosed cabinet, plus four sets of PV cables, four PV breakers, DC breakers, battery cables and Z-brackets.
SunGold says the system has the potential to produce around 30kWh per day and can meet the energy needs of most households, including heavier loads like air conditioners and well pumps. It is aimed at full-time off-grid living, with room to add batteries, panels or inverters later.
SunGold's wiring diagram splits the array into four strings, two strings of five panels on one inverter and two strings of six on the other. Each string has its own 25A PV breaker and its own MPPT input, so both inputs on both inverters are in use. Each input is rated for 5000W and up to 550Vdc open circuit.
With 9900W of panels, SunGold rates this kit at around 30kWh per day. That gives the system solar energy for daytime loads and for recharging the 25.6kWh battery bank.
Five SG48100P batteries, each 51.2V 100Ah and 5.12kWh, sit in the included enclosed cabinet. Each module supports 100A continuous charge and discharge, at least 7000 cycles and a 15-year design life. SunGold lists UL1973, UL9540A, CE and UN38.3 for the batteries.
The 450W panels have a module efficiency of 22.5%, and SunGold says the rear side can harvest up to an additional 30% energy from reflected light. The dual glass build is certified for 5400 Pa snow and 2400 Pa wind loads.
Each inverter is rated at 6500W with a 13,000VA peak at 120/240Vac. Paralleled, the two supply 13000W, enough headroom for 240V pumps and air conditioning alongside household circuits.
A utility or generator can charge the batteries at up to 80A per inverter, with up to 140A of mixed charging. The time-slot function lets you schedule charging and discharging around local peak and off-peak rates.
Full-time off-grid homes. Cover daily household use with around 30kWh of solar potential and 25.6kWh of storage.

Versus one string per inverter. Layouts that use a single MPPT input per inverter leave half the inputs empty. This kit uses both inputs on each inverter, so each unit can draw on its full 5000W + 5000W PV rating.
Versus single-sided panels. Bifacial panels can add rear-side output where the back of the array sees reflected light.
Versus buying parts separately. The inverters, cabinet, batteries, panels, breakers and cables are matched in one kit with a SunGold wiring diagram.
