Wagan ProLine 3000 Watt 48 Volt Power Inverter
As a venerable favorite among off-grid users, Wagan Tech’s ProLine series of power inverters have received a considerable makeover.
Starting from the ground up, the new 3,000 watt inverter received a new SMT circuit board, a glossy exterior coating on the smaller casing, and a massive weight reduction.
The new Wagan Tech Pro Line Inverters; proving that the best can get better!
The new SMT (Surface Mount Technology) circuit boards offer greater reliability, better efficiency, and fewer stray RF emissions over the older PCB (Printed Circuit Boards) and through-hole boards. From there the case volume shrunk, and the overall weight was reduced; this makes for one efficient, compact, and lightweight 3,000 watt inverter.
Under the shiny new exterior, you’ll find the aforementioned SMT circuit boards and a powerful cooling fan. On the front of the ProLine 3,000 Watt Inverter you will find the manually operated power switch (On/Off) as well as the jack for the remote power switch (included).
Three conveniently stacked 120V AC outlets capable of providing 1500 watts each are well spaced on the right side of the inverter. Just left of the AC outlets, you will find the LED Over-Load and Over-Temperature warning lights and the Voltage and Amperage level indicators. With the stout AC terminal block just below the Voltage/Amperage Level indicators, you can be certain that your investment is well protected.
On the backside of the ProLine 3,000 Watt Inverter is the massive cooling fan, the Heavy Duty Solid Mount Positive (Red) Terminal, the Heavy Duty Solid Mount Negative (Black) Terminal, and the Ground-Neutral Bond stud with wing-nut.
Both of the Terminals are now Heavy Duty Sold Mounts and come directly out of the case to make connections easier and to avoid the inevitable 90ᵒ bend that the cables make on traditional inverters; causing undue stress and making connections harder. The massive cooling fan is utilized to help keep the inverter cool and operating efficiently.
Wagan Tech builds our inverters with high peak surges that allow up to 3x the continuous rating to support high surging appliances such as tools, microwaves, air conditioners and refrigerators. Wagan Tech uses top quality components and reliable MOSFET transistors – the key factor in reliable inverter manufacturing.

Great product 👌
I use this for off grid camping and it will run my 65 qt fridge for 2 days with out a recharge. It fully charges on AC in about an hour and about 4 hours on my 160 watt panel. It weighs less than 20 lbs and has a small footprint. Great software interface..what is not to like!
Rusty, thank you for your review, and it sounds like this setup is perfect for your situation. Let us know if we can ever be of help for anything else. We appreciate you!
The product was perfect, the price was better than competitors but shipping with DHL is terrible. It took TEN DAYS to get here. Pony Express could have gotten it here faster.
Hi Ken, thanks for your review and I'm glad you're happy with the Infinity Cable. Thanks also for your feedback on DHL as we can look into why that took so long and make changes accordingly. Please feel welcome to reach out if we can ever be of service again! - Bill
