The EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max has a 2048Wh LFP battery and 2400W of pure sine wave AC output across six 120V outlets. With USB-A, USB-C, car outlet and DC5521 ports, it powers up to 15 devices at once, and it charges from a wall outlet, two solar inputs, a vehicle or an EcoFlow Smart Generator.

2400W Output With X-Boost Up to 3400W

The six AC outlets share 2400W at 120V with 4800W of surge. X-Boost turns on automatically when the load passes the rated output and lets the power station run appliances up to 3400W. It suits heating devices, not appliances with voltage protection, and is not available in bypass mode.

Expandable From 2048Wh to 6144Wh

Two extra battery ports accept up to two DELTA 2 Max Smart Extra Batteries. Each adds 2048Wh of LFP storage, for 4096Wh with one and 6144Wh with two, so you can start small and add storage later. Each extra battery weighs about 42 lbs (19 kg), comes with a DELTA 2 Max Extra Battery Cable and works only with the DELTA 2 Max.

80% in 43 Minutes With AC Plus Solar

X-Stream AC charging draws up to 1800W and reaches 80% in 1.1 hours. Combine 1800W of AC with up to 600W of solar, 2400W in total, and it reaches 80% in 43 minutes. The AC Charging Speed Switch and the app set AC charging from 200W to 1800W, for outlets that can't supply more than 15A.

Two Solar Inputs Up to 1000W

Each of the two solar inputs accepts 11–60V and 15A, up to 500W per input and 1000W combined. Each input has its own MPPT controller, and EcoFlow rates MPPT efficiency at 99%. EcoFlow lists a full solar charge in about 2.3 hours with 1000W of input and about 2.8 hours with 800W.

30ms Switchover for Outage Backup

With grid power connected, devices on the AC outlets run from the grid in bypass mode. If the power goes out, the DELTA 2 Max switches to battery within 30ms. It is a basic UPS function without 0ms switching, so it is not for data servers or workstations. For a refrigerator, set the AC output to "Always on" in the app.

LFP Battery in a Protective Build

The LFP battery is rated for 3000 cycles to 80% or more of its capacity. A battery management system regulates voltage, current and temperature. A UL94-5VA fire-resistant casing, a rubber anti-slip base and reinforced ports add protection on the move. EcoFlow rates it as quiet as 30dB at about 20 in with low input and a 500W load.

Solar Panel Options

The 400W Portable Solar Panel is rated at 48V open circuit voltage and 11A short circuit current, comes with a solar charging cable, and its protective case doubles as a kickstand for a 40°–80° tilt. EcoFlow notes it usually produces 320W–350W on a clear day with sunlight at 90°. The NextGen 220W Bifacial panel adds a rear side for reflected light, an IP68 rating and a 2.5 m Solar to XT60i cable, and weighs about 15.4 lbs (7 kg).

Real-World Applications

Home backup. EcoFlow estimates about 14 hours for a 120W refrigerator. For partial home backup, EcoFlow says the DELTA 2 Max and up to two Smart Extra Batteries can connect to your home's transfer switch.

RV trips and camping. Run 120V appliances from six outlets and 12V gear from the car outlet, then refill from solar panels during the day.

Filmmaking and photography. Charge laptops, cameras and drones from the two 100W USB-C ports.

EcoFlow appliances. EcoFlow pairs it with its WAVE portable air conditioner and GLACIER portable fridge, and its Smart Generator can recharge it.

How It Compares to Common Alternatives

Versus adding Smart Extra Batteries. The DELTA 2 Max alone stores 2048Wh and weighs about 50 lbs (23 kg). Each Smart Extra Battery adds 2048Wh and about 42 lbs, up to 6144Wh, as separate units you move one at a time.

Versus a gas generator. A gas generator burns fuel, makes exhaust and needs regular upkeep. EcoFlow describes the DELTA 2 Max as fume-free and maintenance-free, and it charges from the wall, the sun or your vehicle.

Is This Portable Power Station the Right Fit

• Weight. It weighs about 50 lbs (23 kg). Set it on a flat surface and fasten it securely for transport.
• Wall circuit. Full-speed AC charging needs an outlet that supplies more than 15A, or you lower the charging speed. The cord's grounding plug needs a properly grounded outlet.
• Solar limits. Each input takes 11–60V, up to 500W. The base unit ships without a solar charging cable or panel.
• Not a 0ms UPS. The 30ms switchover is not meant for devices that need 0ms switching.
• Keep it dry. Don't use it in rain or high humidity, and don't take it on a plane.

How Many Devices Can It Power at Once?

Up to 15 through six AC outlets, four USB-A ports, two USB-C ports, one car outlet and two DC5521 ports. Keep the total load below the 2400W rated power. The car outlet and DC5521 ports share 126W.

How Should I Store It?

Ideally store it at 68°F to 86°F (20°C to 30°C). Every three months, discharge it to 0%, fully recharge it, then discharge it to 60%. It is not covered by the warranty if it goes more than 6 months without charging or discharging.

What Warranty Does It Have?

EcoFlow gives the DELTA 2 Max a 5-year warranty. EcoFlow lists 12 months for the 220W and 400W solar panels.
