ACOPower In-Line Diode Connectors place a blocking diode right inside a solar connector. Installed in a panel's positive lead, the diode lets current flow from the panel toward the controller but blocks it from flowing backward. That keeps a shaded or damaged panel from drawing current from the rest of a parallel array, and prevents reverse current at night.
ACOPower lists this pack as 4 pairs of in-line diode connectors, enough to protect each panel in a four-panel parallel array. The contacts are tin-coated copper, and each end has rubber bushings to seal the cable entry.
