The AIMS Power 2000 Watt 12 Volt Pure Sine Power Inverter With Transfer Switch is designed for dependable, automatic power switching in RVs and mobile setups. When shore power is available, it passes that power through to your loads. When shore power is lost, it switches to battery power on its own, with no extra wiring or manual switching required. It delivers 2000 watts of clean, stable pure sine wave power for residential-style appliances and sensitive electronics, is ETL listed and conforms to UL 458 standards, and is backed by a 2 year warranty with free lifetime technical support.
The integrated transfer switch moves your loads from shore power to battery power with a typical transfer time of less than 20 milliseconds, keeping appliances running without interruption. No programming or DIP switch changes are needed for operation.
The inverter delivers 2000 watts continuous and 4000 watts of surge, with total harmonic distortion under 3%. AIMS Power notes the surge rating is not recommended for start up applications. AIMS Power lists these loads as a good match:
Shore power passes through to your loads whether the inverter is on or off, and even without being connected to a battery bank. A 25 amp resettable AC breaker protects the circuit.
The inverter is ETL listed and conforms to UL 458 standards. AIMS Power states each unit is Hi-Pot (high voltage dielectric withstand) tested before leaving the factory using UL-certified testing equipment to verify insulation integrity.
AC connections are made through a hardwire direct connect terminal block for a secure, permanent installation. The circuit board is conformal coated for marine applications.
