Incredible upgrade from my last .
Purchased another brand a few years ago but this really is amazing. Love the form factor, the screen, the lite weight, the 2000 watts but what REALLY is impressive is the fast charging speed. After this for a week I ordered a second one so I'll have 2.

An upgrade? Yes! And no.
This C1000 Gen 2 power station from Anker is a bit of a paradox. While it adds some welcome new features, it takes some old features away that we're included with the first generation C1000.
The new device is a bit lighter and things like faster, quieter charging and operation, and more ac and USB output power are new and welcome features. As is the ability of this unit to automatically turn its ac power ports back on in the event the power station is completely depleted during an outage and then utility power is restored. This was something the original C1000 could not do and the feature could NOT be added with a firmware update. Good on Anker for finally adding this feature to this new C1000 Gen 2 model, because it's really important that a critical device (like a refrigerator) plugged in to a depleted power station gets it pass through power restored automatically after utility power comes back on.
Some notable features removed from this next generation model include: One AC power port (there are only 5 instead of 6 now), the battery expansion port (so no expansion battery can be added) and just a negligible amount of watt-hour capacity, not a big negative. Anker also removed its variable brightness "light bar" that was built in to the front of the original C1000. Some will miss this feature, some won't.
I like and I do recommend the new C1000 Gen 2 power station. It’s got some nice new features I certainly welcome. It's just a tiny bit of shame some nice "old" features were removed from this new model.

There is a lot to I need to learn about solar power but so far so good with this power station. I do like the Ecoflow app and the delta 3 ultra plus. It is an impressive unit. This unit manageable. I really wanted the Ecoflow delta pro 3 but was afraid of the extra weight. As heavy as it is with the wheels I would still consider it portable as necessary. I am pleased to have found Outbound Power. They also had the best price on the unit. Delivery by Fed Ex went smoothly.

The 100W solar panel works great with my Explorer 1000. It keeps my portable fridge charged and plenty of juice for a lot of other things. It’s compact enough and easy to carry.
