The BLUETTI B500K Expansion Battery stores 5,120Wh in a single pack, nearly double a B300K. It connects to the Apex 300, AC300 and AC200L, and BLUETTI also lists compatibility with the AC500 and AC200MAX. Choose the version for your power station. The B500K2 ships with the CA90 cable for the Apex 300, and the B500K1 ships with the P090A cable for the AC300 and AC200L.
With LiFePO4 cells rated for 4,000+ cycles, the B500K is built for daily cycling and long backup. Mount it to a wall or rack, or roll it on a trolley, and scale your system from 5.12kWh to more than 100kWh with multiple Apex 300 units.
One B500K adds 5.12kWh. Paired with an Apex 300, that makes 7,884.8Wh, and two B500K batteries bring an Apex 300 to about 13kWh. BLUETTI estimates a 100W load would run about 43.8 hours on one B500K.
The B500K is rated for 4,000+ cycles to 80% capacity, or roughly a decade of regular use. A built-in fan keeps it cool under heavy loads, and the battery reserves some energy to prevent over-discharge.
BLUETTI's third-generation wireless internal design resists vibration, impacts and movement, which makes the B500K well suited to RVs and systems that get moved.
Built-in mounting holes let you secure the battery to a wall or rack in your home or RV. For a mobile setup, attach it to the BLUETTI Foldable Trolley 2 (sold separately).
An Apex 300 accepts up to six B500K batteries and can mix B500K, B300K, B300 and B300S packs up to six total. The AC300 accepts up to four B500K, and the AC200L up to two for 12,288Wh.
Pair the B500K with a SolarX 4K for up to 4,000W of high-voltage solar, a Charger 2 for 1,000W alternator and solar charging, or a Hub D1 for up to 700W of DC output.
Whole-home or partial-home backup. Add days of runtime for essential circuits during long outages.
RV and van systems. Wall-mount the battery and store enough energy for air conditioning, cooking and electronics off-grid.
Solar self-consumption. Store daytime solar for evening use and shift loads away from peak rates.
Versus the B300K. The B300K stores 2,764.8Wh at 65 lbs. The B500K stores 5,120Wh at 99.21 lbs, so you need fewer packs and connections for the same capacity.
Versus generators. The B500K is silent with no fuel or emissions, so it can be used indoors and overnight.
This may be a good fit if
Up to six with an Apex 300 (use CA90 cables for stacked packs and P090A cables for packs stacked separately), up to four with an AC300, up to six with an AC500 and up to two with an AC200L or AC200MAX.
No. It can power devices down to -4°F, but it should only be charged from 32°F to 104°F.
Recharge it before it drops to 1%. If it has been fully discharged, keep it somewhere at least 50°F for 12 hours before recharging.
