The BLUETTI EP800/900 Home Integration Kit is the sub panel kit used to connect a BLUETTI EP800 or EP900 energy storage system to your home's main electrical panel. BLUETTI recommends powering essential loads through a sub panel rather than connecting the system directly to your main panel, and this kit provides that connection point.
The sub panel includes a manual transfer switch, so your electrician can move essential circuits between the storage system and the grid for everyday use, troubleshooting and maintenance.
Group the circuits you want backed up, such as the refrigerator, lights, internet, furnace and well pump, in one panel fed by your EP800 or EP900.
The built-in switch lets you change between the storage system side and the grid side, which makes troubleshooting and service simpler without shutting down the whole house.
The kit is matched to BLUETTI's home energy storage systems. With the EP800, BLUETTI recommends keeping the total load on the sub panel under 7.6kW per inverter.
Once installed, your EP800 or EP900 powers the backup loads on the sub panel without interruption when the grid fails, and grid loads resume automatically when power returns.
New EP800 installations. Set up an off-grid or backup system with a clean essential-loads panel.
EP900 solar homes. Feed backed-up circuits from your EP900 while the rest of the home stays on the grid.
Versus connecting to the main panel. BLUETTI does not recommend running the EP800 directly into your main panel. A sub panel keeps backup loads within the system's capacity.
