The BLUETTI Epanel Smart Distribution Panel combines AC and DC power distribution with communication modules in a single unit. It has 8 AC output circuits and 20 DC output circuits, and 4 AC and 6 DC smart circuits can be monitored and switched in real time from the BLUETTI app or the Epad.
BLUETTI designed it for RVs, boats, off-grid buildings and other compact power systems, and it links to the BLUETTI RV5 and Epad through its communication ports.
Four AC outlets and six DC outlets have internal switches and power metering, so you can see what each one draws and turn it on or off remotely. All smart circuits turn on automatically when the Epanel powers on.
MAIN1 and MAIN2 breakers allow dual AC input up to 50A. With the copper busbar in place, the Epanel takes 120V single-phase input. Remove the busbar for 240V split-phase input.
The DC side accepts 10V to 30V at up to 100A through a bolt-on main fuse, and each of its 20 outputs has its own blade fuse rated for up to 20A per circuit. A red indicator lights if a fuse is missing or blown while DC power is on.
Smart DC circuits warn at 20A and shut off at 25A, and smart AC circuits warn at 30A and shut off at 35A. An input overvoltage warning also appears in the app or on the Epad.
Two RJ45 communication ports carry CAN communication with the RV5 and Epad, and RS485 pins are reserved for third-party communication.
Mount the Epanel on a wall or recess it using the included drilling template. Wood screws hold it to wooden walls, and anchors fit concrete walls.
RVs and camper vans. Run your AC and DC loads from one panel and switch smart circuits from the Epad or your phone.
Boats. Organize onboard AC and DC circuits in one place, with a protective cover mounted above the panel.
Off-grid buildings. Distribute AC and DC power in an off-grid building from one panel.
Separate panels mean two boxes and no circuit-level monitoring. The Epanel combines both in one 17 x 13.89 x 4.12 in enclosure with smart circuits you can switch remotely.
BLUETTI states that the Epanel must be installed by a certified technician with proven experience. It accepts 1-inch plug-in breakers that are UL Listed, comply with UL 489 and have a 10,000A short-circuit current rating, from the Eaton BR and C, Thomas & Betts TB and TBBD, Siemens QP and QT, Square D HOM and HOMT, Murray MP-T and MH-T, and General Electric THQL lines. Use branch breakers of 30A or less and a main breaker of 50A or less. Tandem breakers allow up to 16 AC output circuits. Leave at least 4 in (10 cm) of space around the unit. It's rated IP20 and isn't ignition-protected, so don't install it in an engine compartment.
No. You supply the AC breakers and output cables. AC input cables and DC input cables are also sold separately.
The circuit shuts off and tries to restart automatically. If it trips 3 times within 30 minutes, it stays off until you clear the error in the app and turn the power back on.
Check and tighten the AC and DC connections every 3 months, or at least once a month for frequent mobile use. Keep the fan and vents clean.
