The EcoFlow TITAN Battery 5kWh Adds 5kWh Of Backup Storage To Any TITAN Home Battery

The EcoFlow TITAN Battery 5kWh is the expansion battery for the EcoFlow TITAN series. Each pack adds 5,017.6Wh of LFP storage to a TITAN 5000 Plus, TITAN 5000 or TITAN 5000 Classic, so the backup you start with can grow with your home.

Every TITAN main unit already holds its first battery and accepts up to five TITAN Battery 5kWh packs, for 30kWh in total. Add one pack now or several over time. More batteries mean longer runtime, not more output.

EcoFlow TITAN Battery 5kWh Features

5kWh Of LFP Storage In Each Pack

Each pack holds 5,017.6Wh of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) capacity. LFP cells are known for thermal stability, and the TITAN system manages them through its battery management system.

Up To Five Packs For 30kWh Per System

Each TITAN main unit supports up to five TITAN Battery 5kWh packs. Together with its built-in battery, that is six batteries and 30kWh of storage.

  • One pack brings a TITAN to 10kWh
  • Three packs bring it to 20kWh
  • Five packs bring it to 30kWh

One Battery For All Three TITAN Models

The TITAN Battery 5kWh expands the EcoFlow TITAN 5000 Plus, the EcoFlow TITAN 5000 and the EcoFlow TITAN 5000 Classic. Whichever model you own, this is the pack that adds capacity to it.

Stacks Under The Main Unit

The packs stack beneath the TITAN main unit to form one floor-standing tower. They connect through the extra battery ports on their sides with the single-stack cable that comes with each pack, and each pack has two of these ports.

More Runtime Without Changing Output

Adding batteries increases stored energy and runtime. It does not raise the main unit's rated output, which stays at 4,000W on the Classic and 7,200W on the TITAN 5000 and TITAN 5000 Plus.

UL 1973 Certified With A 5-Year Warranty

EcoFlow lists the TITAN Battery 5kWh as UL 1973 certified. It carries a 5-year warranty under EcoFlow's warranty policy.

Real-World Applications

  • Longer outages. Each pack adds 5kWh, so the circuits on your Smart Home Panel 10 stay powered longer between recharges.
  • Storing more solar. More storage lets a TITAN hold more daytime solar for the evening, especially with larger arrays.
  • Time-of-use rates. A larger battery bank can cover more of the peak-rate hours with power stored off-peak.
  • Growing households. Start with the main unit and add packs as your energy use grows.

Actual runtime depends on your loads, solar production and settings.

EcoFlow TITAN Buyer Guidance

Choosing How Many Packs

List what you need to run during an outage and for how many hours. Each pack adds 5kWh, and the options above run from one to five packs. Our team can help turn your list into a pack count.

The Connection Cable Comes In The Box

Each TITAN Battery 5kWh comes with EcoFlow's 0.292m (11.5 in) single-stack connection cable, so packs stacked under the main unit connect out of the box. EcoFlow also sells a 1.5m multi-stack cable separately for layouts that need a longer connection. Contact us and we will confirm which cable your layout needs.

Placement And Weight

Each pack weighs 82.7 lb and measures 24.4 x 13.3 x 10.1 in. Like the main unit, it is rated IP20 and needs a dry, ventilated indoor spot such as a garage. It charges at 32°F to 113°F and discharges at 14°F to 113°F.

This May Be A Good Fit If

  • You own a TITAN 5000 Plus, TITAN 5000 or TITAN 5000 Classic, or plan to buy one
  • You want longer runtime during outages
  • You want to store more of your solar for the evening
  • Your TITAN stack has room for more packs, up to five
