The EcoFlow TITAN 5000 Plus is a 5kWh home battery and inverter in one floor-standing unit. It is built for homeowners who want serious outage protection with less installation work than a traditional hardwired home battery.
It delivers 7,200W of 120V/240V split-phase power from the battery alone and up to 10,000W when solar is feeding the system. Grow it from one battery to six for 30kWh of storage. It is the flagship of the new EcoFlow TITAN series, and the model to choose when solar savings matter as much as backup.
The TITAN 5000 Plus supplies a steady 7,200W at 120V and 240V. EcoFlow says it can start and run a compatible 3-ton central air conditioner without an added soft starter, as long as the AC's startup demand stays within TITAN's limits.
X-Boost 2.0 lets either 120V leg deliver up to 5kW, so more appliances can run together without careful load balancing.
X-Fusion 2.0 combines solar and battery power for up to 10,000W of output, and TITAN keeps delivering its full 7,200W while it charges. Sunny afternoons become the time to run the dryer, not the time to ration.
Two solar inputs each accept 40–450V, up to 16A and up to 4,000W. Each has its own MPPT tracker, so arrays facing different directions do not hold each other back.
The main unit holds the first battery, 5,017.6Wh of LFP capacity. Stack up to five TITAN Battery 5kWh packs as your needs grow, for six batteries and 30kWh total. More batteries mean longer runtime. They do not raise the 7,200W output rating.
The optional Smart Home Panel 10 (240V) connects TITAN to up to 10 household circuits. When the grid drops, those circuits switch to battery in under 20 milliseconds. Lights and Wi-Fi keep running.
Its included CT sensor also lets TITAN work alongside compatible rooftop solar through AC coupling, storing surplus daytime solar with no export to the grid.
Some OASIS features are subscription features in the EcoFlow app.
TITAN uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells, known for thermal stability, with 24/7 battery management monitoring. The main unit is UL 9540, UL 1973 and UL 2743 certified and tested to UL 9540A. In EcoFlow's testing it stays below 39 dB at 5,000W from about 3 feet away.
EcoFlow's estimate for a 15kWh TITAN 5000 Plus system (the main unit plus two TITAN Battery 5kWh packs) with the Smart Home Panel 10, 8kW of solar, about 16.5kWh of daily household use, optimized solar self-consumption and SDG&E TOU-DR2 rates in San Diego, CA. Payback is based on launch prices and compares with 10+ years for the traditional systems EcoFlow compared. Actual savings and payback vary by home, solar production, rate plan and system use.

Choose the TITAN 5000 for the same 7,200W split-phase output with one 4,000W solar input. Choose the TITAN 5000 Classic if your backup needs are 120V only.
List what you need to run and for how many hours. Each battery adds 5kWh, from one battery in the main unit up to six in total, and our team can help turn your list into a battery count.
Automatic circuit backup and AC coupling require the Smart Home Panel 10 (240V), installed by a qualified, licensed electrician. Our home backup installer directory can help you find one. With existing rooftop solar, your installer confirms inverter compatibility.
TITAN is rated IP20 and needs a dry, ventilated indoor spot such as a garage. The main unit weighs 121.3 lb and each battery 82.7 lb. It charges at 32°F to 113°F and discharges at 14°F to 113°F.
Our solar kits are sized string by string to TITAN's inputs. Ten Rich Solar 400W panels fill one 4,000W input exactly, and twenty fill both. Two strings of seven SunGold 550W panels deliver 7,700W with fewer panels. Every kit string stays under the 450V input limit, even at -40°F.
Mounting hardware is not included, because it depends on your roof or ground site. Plan for racking and installation to local electrical code.
EcoFlow says it can start and run a compatible 3-ton central AC without a soft starter, if the AC's startup requirements are within TITAN's capabilities. Everything running at once also has to fit within its output.
Not to get started, since you can plug appliances directly into TITAN. You need it for automatic backup of home circuits and for AC coupling with rooftop solar.
Yes, if your system is compatible. With the Smart Home Panel 10, TITAN works alongside existing rooftop solar without replacing your panels or inverter.
Yes. The main unit includes the first battery and supports up to five TITAN Battery 5kWh packs, for six batteries and 30kWh total.
The TITAN 5000 Plus, TITAN Battery 5kWh and Smart Home Panel 10 each carry a 5-year warranty under EcoFlow's warranty policy.
