The EcoFlow TITAN 5000 is a 5kWh home battery and inverter in one floor-standing unit. It gives homeowners 7,200W of 120V/240V split-phase backup power with less installation work than a traditional hardwired home battery.
Grow it from one battery to six for 30kWh of storage, connect up to 4,000W of solar, and pair it with the Smart Home Panel 10 for automatic backup of up to 10 circuits. It sits in the middle of the new EcoFlow TITAN series, with the same 7,200W output as the TITAN 5000 Plus and one solar input instead of two.
The TITAN 5000 supplies a steady 7,200W at 120V and 240V. EcoFlow says it can start and run a compatible 3-ton central air conditioner without an added soft starter, as long as the AC's startup demand stays within TITAN's limits.
That leaves room for the refrigerator, lights and Wi-Fi alongside it, as long as everything running at once fits within 7,200W.
One solar input accepts 40–450V, up to 16A and up to 4,000W, with MPPT tracking to pull the most from your panels. A Solar to HP500 charging cable is included.
The main unit holds the first battery, 5,017.6Wh of LFP capacity. Stack up to five TITAN Battery 5kWh packs as your needs grow, for six batteries and 30kWh total. More batteries mean longer runtime. They do not raise the 7,200W output rating.
The optional Smart Home Panel 10 (240V) connects TITAN to up to 10 household circuits. When the grid drops, those circuits switch to battery in under 20 milliseconds. Lights and Wi-Fi keep running.
Its included CT sensor also lets the TITAN 5000 work alongside compatible rooftop solar through AC coupling, storing surplus daytime solar with no export to the grid.
Some OASIS features are subscription features in the EcoFlow app.
Three NEMA 5-20R outlets and one NEMA L14-30R outlet let you power appliances straight from the unit. A 60W USB-C port and an 18W USB-A port handle phones, laptops and other small electronics.
TITAN uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells, known for thermal stability, with 24/7 battery management monitoring. The main unit is UL 9540, UL 1973 and UL 2743 certified and tested to UL 9540A. In EcoFlow's testing it stays below 39 dB at 3,600W from about 3 feet away.
EcoFlow's estimate for a 15kWh TITAN 5000 system (the main unit plus two TITAN Battery 5kWh packs) with the Smart Home Panel 10, 4kW of solar, about 16.5kWh of daily household use, optimized solar self-consumption and SDG&E TOU-DR2 rates in San Diego, CA. Payback is based on launch prices and compares with 10+ years for the traditional systems EcoFlow compared. Actual savings and payback vary by home, solar production, rate plan and system use.

Automatic circuit backup and AC coupling require the Smart Home Panel 10 (240V), installed by a qualified, licensed electrician. Our home backup installer directory can help you find one. With existing rooftop solar, your installer confirms inverter compatibility.
TITAN is rated IP20 and needs a dry, ventilated indoor spot such as a garage. The main unit weighs 119 lb and each TITAN Battery 5kWh weighs 82.7 lb. It charges at 32°F to 113°F and discharges at 14°F to 113°F.
Our solar kits are sized to the TITAN 5000's single 4,000W input. Ten Rich Solar 400W panels fill it exactly, and eight SunGold 450W panels deliver 3,600W. Each kit string stays under the 450V input limit, even at -40°F.
Mounting hardware is not included, because it depends on your roof or ground site. Plan for racking and installation to local electrical code.
EcoFlow says it can start and run a compatible 3-ton central AC without a soft starter, if the AC's startup requirements are within TITAN's capabilities. Everything running at once also has to fit within its 7,200W output.
Both deliver 7,200W of split-phase power. The Plus adds a second solar input for 8,000W total, up to 10,000W of output when solar is producing, and up to 5kW on either 120V leg. If you plan a large solar array, choose the Plus.
Not to get started, since you can plug appliances directly into TITAN. You need it for automatic backup of home circuits and for AC coupling with rooftop solar.

I wanted to leave a new review, as support reached out to me and clarified some things I was unclear about. This thing is amazing! It seamlessly switches over to backup power without me noticing, and makes being inconvenienced by power outages a thing of the past. I originally purchased it for just backup power, but I'm finding that I can really offset energy costs by attaching solar panels pretty easily, and building up my solar grid at my own pace.
Support confirmed that the unit can handle 50A when connected to the grid, accommodating a maximum of two F3800s at the same 50A when the power is out. That drops to 25A if you only have one F3800.
Support also took my feedback to enhance the app capabilities, and provide more visibility into the individual component's utilizations. I've been very impressed by their level of support, and am excited to see the improvements they continue to make.
I originally purchased this thinking I would just connect a manual transfer switch via the 30A plug and use it as a backup generator. However, once I discovered the Home Power Panel, and its ability to seamlessly switch over to backup power automatically, I was sold! It was easy to use and easy to install. I can confirm that it supports 6000W at 25A. It is a beast!! I am excited to buy a second one in the future, and it has already been amazing maintaining power when the grid goes down.
I am excited to see some improvements in the app though. It is a bit basic. I would like to see things like detailed monitoring of the different circuits, historical monitoring data, and the ability to configure alerts (like a circuit is consuming more power than you expect it to). Otherwise, it is pretty great!

The portable fridge came in about 5 days and was even cheaper than the manufacturers sale price. An employee even called me to make sure that I was satisfied with the product which doesn’t ever happen. As soon as I got it I unboxed it and immediately put it into use. It took about 25 minutes for the unit to get to 30 degrees when I had it set to its lowest setting. I went shopping and 30 minutes later it was at -4f. Even once I filled it up with some frozen and some slightly cool food items it got up to about 15f and dropped back down to -4f within about 60 minutes. Beats the heck out of ice for sure.
As for the company they went above and beyond to earn my future business. I thought something was missing from the box, so I sent an email and they responded within minutes, fortunately it was my mistake and I overlooked a part of the packaging and found the item. So I sent another email saying it was my fault and I had found the item. I really appreciate the service you all provide.
