The BLUETTI P090A Battery Expansion Cable Links Your Power Station to B300K Expansion Batteries and Links Batteries to Each Other
The BLUETTI P090A Battery Expansion Cable connects an expansion battery to a compatible power station or to another expansion battery. BLUETTI's B300K manual uses it to connect the B300K to an AC300, AC200MAX or AC200L, and to join B300K units together.
It's for owners who are adding battery capacity to a BLUETTI system. BLUETTI lists it for the B230, B300, B300K and B500K expansion batteries. It's a cable only, so you need the power station and battery on each end.
BLUETTI P090A Battery Expansion Cable Features
Locking Plug Connection
Press the cable down into the port, then push to lock it in place. BLUETTI says to be sure to lock the connection. On the B300K, the power button flashes twice, pauses for 4 seconds and repeats when an expansion cable isn't locked, so you know when a plug isn't seated.
More B300K Units on One Power Station
With an AC300 you can connect up to 4 B300K units for a maximum capacity of 11,059.2Wh. With an AC200MAX or AC200L you can connect up to 2 B300K units for a maximum capacity of 5,529.6Wh.
Battery to Battery Links
Use the P090A to interconnect B300K units. BLUETTI says an AC300 can work with B300K and B300 expansion batteries at the same time using P090A cables.
Real-World Applications
Adding a B300K to an AC300. Run a P090A from the AC300 to the B300K, lock both ends and the battery joins the system.
Building a larger stack. Chain more B300K units with additional P090A cables, up to the limit BLUETTI gives for your power station.
Practical Comparison
P090A Versus P090D to P150D Cable
BLUETTI's B300K manual says to use the P090D to P150D cable to connect to an AC500, and the P090A for the AC300, AC200MAX and AC200L. For an AC500 system, BLUETTI's table has the P090A only for connecting a B300K to a B300.
Buyer Guidance
Match the Cable to the Connection
Check which two units you are joining before you order. AC300, AC200MAX and AC200L to B300K uses the P090A. AC500 to B300K or B300 needs the P090D to P150D cable instead. BLUETTI lists the cable at 31.49 in (800 mm) in the B300K manual, so plan your layout with units close together.
This May Be A Good Fit If
- You're adding a B300K to an AC300, AC200MAX or AC200L
- You're linking one B300K to another
- You're joining a B300K to a B300
