The BLUETTI RV5 Battery Connection Wiring Pack is the wiring set for linking the RV5 5-in-1 power hub to a 48V battery. It covers the BAT+ and BAT- connections described in BLUETTI's RV5 manual.
It's for RV, boat and off-grid builders who are installing an RV5 with a B4810 battery and want BLUETTI's own wiring set instead of sourcing cables one by one.
For an RV5 with B4810 batteries, the manual calls for an isolated switch and three connecting wires, two red and one black. The black wire runs from the RV5's BAT- port to the battery's main negative terminal. A long red wire runs from the battery's main positive terminal to the switch, and a short red wire runs from the switch to the BAT+ port.
An isolated switch lets you cut the battery connection when you work on the system. The manual installs the switch in the OFF state while you wire it.
BLUETTI advises keeping the connecting wires as short and thick as possible.
RV power systems. Wire a B4810 battery to the RV5 in a motorhome or trailer.
Marine and off-grid setups. BLUETTI describes the RV5 system for RVs, boats and off-grid power.
Buying cables, lugs and a switch separately means matching gauges and lengths yourself. A wiring pack follows the layout in BLUETTI's own manual.
The RV5 battery terminal has no reverse polarity protection, so check polarity before wiring. The RV5 supports stacking up to 3 B4810 units. BLUETTI recommends two B4810 packs for full power output; one B4810 gives about 4,320W maximum output. Power off the battery before connecting.
BLUETTI's RV5 manual says no fuse is needed with the B4810 battery. Choose the wire gauge based on load power.
BLUETTI recommends 0 to 4 AWG (50 to 16 mm²) for the 48V battery connection cable.
If you are unsure about polarity or sizing, BLUETTI advises consulting a qualified electrician.
