The BougeRV 12V 200W ShadePower Yuma CIGS Punched Flexible Solar System Kit is a full 12V off-grid system built around a flexible thin-film panel. It includes a Yuma 200W CIGS panel with pre-punched holes, a Sunflow 30A MPPT solar charge controller, a 12.8V 100Ah Group 24 LiFePO4 battery and a 2000W 12V pure sine wave inverter.
It's made for RVs, teardrop trailers, boats and overland rigs where a light, glass-free panel suits the roof better than a framed one, and where you want to fasten the panel through its holes rather than rely on adhesive alone. You add mounting hardware, fuses and cables to suit your installation.
The Yuma panel's CIGS cells have individual bypass diodes, 24 in all, so only the shaded cells are bypassed and the rest of the panel keeps producing. That helps on vehicle and boat roofs where partial shade is common.
The 200W panel measures 82.8 x 27.1 x 0.06 inches and weighs 5.95 lbs. Holes punched through its border let you fasten it to your surface, and BougeRV's drawing shows 0.2 inch holes and 33.5 inch leads.
BougeRV rates the panel, its solar connectors and its junction box IP68 against rain, snow and dust, with 2400 Pa wind resistance and a 5400 Pa snow load. Operating temperature limits are -40°F to +185°F.
The 12V/24V controller accepts up to 450W of solar at 12V and up to 100V of PV input, with MPPT tracking efficiency above 99% and charging conversion efficiency above 95% per its manual. Charging current is adjustable from 0 to 30A, and Bluetooth and an LCD let you monitor and change settings.
The 12.8V 100Ah battery stores 1280Wh in a Group 24 size case measuring 10.24 x 6.61 x 8.23 inches and weighing 24.25 lbs. It's rated for 4000 cycles at 100% depth of discharge, and its BMS protects against overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, short circuits and overheating. Charging stops at 32°F (0°C) and resumes at 35.6°F (2°C).
The inverter delivers 2000W rated and 4000W peak for one second of 120VAC pure sine wave power, with total harmonic distortion under 5%. It has a 15A and a 20A AC output terminal, an 18W USB port, a wired remote and Bluetooth app control.
RV and trailer roofs. Fasten the flexible panel to a curved roof and run 120VAC appliances from the battery through the inverter.
Boats. Mount the light, glass-free panel on a deck where shade from rigging is common.
Overland and camping rigs. Store solar energy during the day and run 120VAC devices or charge USB devices at camp.
Cold-weather trips. The battery's low temperature charging protection stops charging at 32°F (0°C) until it warms up.
A rigid glass panel needs a frame and brackets and can't follow a curve. The Yuma CIGS panel is 0.06 inches thick, has no glass and bends to fit curved roofs and decks, with 24 bypass diodes for partial shade. A rigid panel can be angled toward the sun on a bracket, which may suit a flat rack or ground mount.
An adhesive-backed panel sticks down permanently without holes. This kit's punched panel is fastened through its border holes, so you choose the hardware and attachment that suit your surface.
A panel alone needs a controller, battery and inverter before it can power AC loads. This kit supplies all four main parts, sized to work together.
BougeRV lists these as purchased separately: solar panel mounting brackets, MC4 fuses, MC4 extension cables, an MC4 crimping tool, controller-to-battery cables, battery-to-inverter cables and a battery-to-inverter fuse or breaker. Choose each based on your system current, cable distance, panel type and installation.
Charge the battery fully to 13.4V or higher before first use. Connect the battery to the controller before the panel, set the controller's battery type to LiFePO4 and keep solar input under 100V Voc. The inverter input has no reverse polarity protection, so check polarity, and BougeRV recommends a DC fuse or breaker rated at 2 to 2.5 times the inverter's rated input current within 150 mm of the battery.
Maximum power is 200W at 17% cell efficiency. Vmp is 24V, Imp is 8.52A, Voc is 30.4V and Isc is 9.48A, each ±5%, with a 1000V DC max system voltage and a 10A series fuse rating.
Yes. BougeRV's battery manual allows up to four batteries in parallel. Fully charge each battery first and let them rest 12 to 24 hours after connecting before charging or discharging.
The external display shows input voltage, output voltage, output power, output frequency, error codes and working status.
BougeRV lists a 10-year warranty and a 25-year performance warranty for the panel, 5 years for the battery and 18 months for the inverter.
BougeRV's inverter manual lists these accessories with the 2000W inverter: two 3 ft 2AWG battery-inverter cables, a 3.2 ft ground cable, a wrench, a 19.6 ft remote control, the product manual and replacement fuses.
The BougeRV 12V 200W ShadePower Yuma CIGS Punched Flexible Solar System Kit pairs a glass-free, shade-tolerant 200W panel with a Sunflow 30A MPPT controller, a 1280Wh LiFePO4 battery and a 2000W pure sine wave inverter. If you'd like help choosing mounting hardware, fuses and cables, the Outbound Power team is happy to help.
