The BougeRV 58in Adjustable Solar Panel Tilt Mount Brackets with Foldable Tilt Legs hold a solar panel at an angle instead of flat. Each set has four 58 in aluminum mounting rails, two 40 in aluminum tilt brackets and the stainless steel fasteners to put them together.
They're designed for off-grid solar systems on RVs, motorhomes, flat roofs, boats, garages, the ground and other flat surfaces, for panels up to 58 in wide.
The tilt legs adjust from 0° to 90°, so you can set the panel flat, upright or anywhere between as the seasons change. BougeRV says a tilted panel can collect up to 50% more solar energy than one mounted flat.
The rails and tilt brackets are made of rust-free aluminum alloy that BougeRV rates for all climate conditions. The aluminum keeps the set light at 8.28 pounds.
BougeRV rates the brackets for a bearing weight of 120 kg.
Pre-drilled holes and stainless steel fasteners make assembly quick, and BougeRV describes installation in four steps. Knob bolts and wing nuts let you change the angle by hand.
